Locutus From a personal perspective - I think it pretty much started due to it being a good place for 'all ages' to hang out together at a meet, as some were too young to go to clubs etc. Now something like 4/5 years later, as you can imagine, the majority are now able to go elsewhere, so perhaps that's the reason behind it. Plus it can get a little repetitive doing the same things for nearly 10 events! I'm sure people still go, and it's a handy place to meet forum members etc, but it won't be what it once was. Yes I think you're right about that, it really has been that long! However I think it remains a nice casual meeting place. Also if you're attending C13 from Friday - Monday (like myself) I guess theres plenty of time for pubs/clubs, plus not everyone is into the whole pubs/clubs thing! We've had a pretty good response to this thread so far - I guess the next steps are just to keep checking the thread when you can and I'll speak to you on the day and we take it from there... The only thing really to confirm is a time? Do you think 7:00 - 7:30pm sounds reasonable, what does everyone think? I really dont know what time everyone has normally turned up in years gone by??? With that said, I've been working 16 hour days (uni projects) so I might just want to stay in and have the night's sleep. I'll text Sah and let her know.
