gilgalad70
Allegedly the show was 'too violent' for the genre to get a decent audience, plus the writers strike kinda 'helped' the show disappear. Not for lack of publicity in the US.
Psychosis
Allegedly the show was 'too violent' for the genre to get a decent audience, plus the writers strike kinda 'helped' the show disappear. Not for lack of publicity in the US. I really don't think violence is the problem. I mean, early episodes of Heroes had people falling from high buildings, bones poking out, graphic autopsies of live people, heads getting cut open, etc. A bit of punching and kicking isn't going to insult anyone's sensitivities if Heroes can get 15 million+. For fans of that genre, the more violent the better. Edited April 11, 2008 by Psychosis
gilgalad70
Thats what I saw listed in reviews as a reason why it got dropped. Either that, or it was placed against a REAL ratings killer, in which case, bad scheduling by the network..
