nadatron
Here are few random suggestions: Evan Rachel Wood (Thirteen, Across The Universe & American Gothic) Fairuza Balk (The Craft, American History X & The Waterboy) Erika Christensen (Traffic, Flightplan & Swimfan) Emily Bergl (Taken & The Rage: Carrie 2) Dolph Lundgreon (Rocky IV, Masters of the Universe & Universal Soldier) Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy, The Grudge & Cruel Intentions) Heather Donahue (Taken & The Blair Witch Project) Alicia Silverstone (Clueless, Batman & Robin & Scooby Doo 2) Lindley Booth (Dawn of the Dead, Cry Wolf & 4400) Thora Birch (American Beauty, The Hole & Ghost World) Seth Green (Austin Powers, The Italian Job & Buffy) Robin Tunney (Prison Break, The Craft & End of Days) Anna Faris (Scary Movie saga & Brokeback Mountain) "Random" suggestions make up some of the best lists, some great names on there which I would def pick myself, especially Fairuza baulk, I would LOVE to see her!!! and Dolph Lundgren would be AWESOME - I don't care how many people hype his Rocky role to me, hes forever He-man to me lol). And Emily Bergl - I thought she was great in Carrie 2. But yeah I second others on here about more horror in Manchester, I was gutted about not being able to get to Midlands to see Bruce Campbell, and I'd really, really, really love you forever if you get Robert Englund up here! I would also do anything to see: Katherine Isabelle and Emily Perkins from Gingersnaps. Brad Dourif (from so many films I love) Parry Shen (again in so many films I love) Joel Moore Kane Hodder Lots More I cant think off, also generic guests from my fave TV shows past and present which are Dr Who, Torchwood, Star Trek, X-files, Millennium, LOST, CSI, Firefly(/Serenity) For my obligatory "no chance in hell" suggestion may I request Troma's directors and a few of my favourite actors and actresses who appear in Troma Productions (all of which are also in tonnes of other movies and most are also regulars in my most beloved of genres, modern uber-low-budget horror b-movies)? Lloyd Kaufman Micheal Herz Will Keenan Trent Haage Debbie Rochon (LEGEND) Tiffany Shepis Ron Fazio Paul Kyrmze Dan Snow Ron Jeremy (Yes that Ron Jeremy) Alyce LaTourelle
vintageSW77
How about Lis Sladen for Manc or Mid? Shes just been nominated as the number 1 assistant of all time in SFX You get the kiddiewinks for SJ Adventures and the adults for Vintage Who so youll get the ques and as its 40 years since the original Planet Of THe Apes in 2008 can we have some Apes guests next year? Any chance of mute crew assistants to the "stars" as well? I often find during conversations with the "stars" that they butt in. It can be a little annoying when for example you start to chat about Hellraiser with someone youve admired for 20 years and a crew member starts talking about Region dvd codes and changes the topic etc ASIA ARGENTO springs to mind today Damn i wish Showmasters would do a horror con there arent enough in the uk and judging by the popularity of Robert Englund and Bruce it would be popular my dream list would include - DARIO ARGENTO GEORGE ROMERO any of the DAWN OF THE DEAD 79 cast Gunnar Hansen Eli Roth Michael Berryman the EVIL DEAD girls Christopher Lee Heather Langenkamp Katherine Isobelle the chick out of MAY Jamie Lee Curtis John Carpenter Frank Hennenlotter and yes LLoyd Kaufman Edited March 23, 2008 by vintageSW77

petrorabbit
Guests who actually turn up this time would be great !!! How about some Boston Legal guests. Shatner and Spader would be great, though unlikely. Gary Anthony Williams who plays Clarence would be a dream. Also Allison Mack, Ian Mcshane,Edward James Olmos or David Hewlett would be cool. fleddy
Anyone from Harry Potter would be great. Also I would love to meet any of the cast of The Lost Boys. I missed the Coreys Haim and Feldman the last time they were in the U.K. and I love that film. Billy Wirth and Brooke McCarter would be brilliant to meet too. Doctor Who
John Barrowman , please, your bringing him to Milton Keynes, please bring him to Manchester. He's never done a Manchester signing (well not in my 14 years of life .. I don't think he has anyway not since he's been in Doctor Who). I know whoever you get thought Collectormania it will be great

Doctor Who
BARROWMAN for those who cnnot get to MK I quite agree. I totally agree so much, John Barrowman to Manchester please!!! I mean he hasn't done a book signing up north only down south, in the past year he has done 3 signings on Oxford Street. None in Manchester but I know he's very busy so it's not his fault If you could Collectormania it would be great and you would make my day infact whole year. Mungojerrie
CSI. Please please please. I've always wanted to meet Eric Szmanda. My life would be complete if I met him, haha xD William Petersen seems absolutely lovely too, I'd love to meet him! Doctor Who/Torchwood guests. Tennant or Barrowman would actually make my day. And perhaps trying to get Tosh and Owen back since they cancelled the last event :) Heroes is always ace. At both the Collectormanias I attended, I met Heroes guests and they were absolutely lovely. Adrian Pasdar was one of the best days of my life, and I was so looking forward to meeting Hayden and her cancellation upset me xD Bring her back please? Any Harry Potter stars would be ace. I was sad that I missed Neville! Went on the wrong day back in March >: Aaaaaaand Life On Mars/Ashes to Ashes. Philip Glenister is a legend. I love him. 8D Edited April 1, 2008 by Mungojerrie

monstermaker
I'd also like to see some of the older who guests, as well as some of the rarer star wars signers. I'd love to meet Karen Allen, or anyone from the raiders films. One suggestion though, don't list the guests to early, as cancelations are bound to happen, as seen at the last event, i realise you've got to get interest in the event, but advertising months in advance and then having most of your guests cancel is surely not a good advertisment Edited April 3, 2008 by monstermaker
Havok
I'd also like to see some of the older who guests, as well as some of the rarer star wars signers. I'd love to meet Karen Allen, or anyone from the raiders films. One suggestion though, don't list the guests to early, as cancelations are bound to happen, as seen at the last event, i realise you've got to get interest in the event, but advertising months in advance and then having most of your guests cancel is surely not a good advertisment Alas that's one of the main problems when organising an event like this. I used to organise events years ago and it can be a double edged sword. You need to advertise guests to generate interest and revenue for the event and sadly some guests can't attend for whatever reason so you need to announce cancelations. Although the last Manchester event suffered greatly due to the cancelations it was still a very entertaining event. The guests were really nice and you had time to chat to all of them as the lack of attendees meant they weren't swamped. There'll never be an ideal way of sorting out these problems but I'm sure showmasters will keep on trying.

Doctor Who
Got to keep bumping the VINTAGE Doctor Who guests TOM BAKER,SLADEN,PADBURY,WATLING ETC ETC ETC its not just the new Who people want Yeah , to be honest I'm more of a new Who fan because I wasn't born when the classic series was on but I would love to meet Elisabeth Sladen, I mean shes appeared in Classic Doctor Who, New Doctor Who and has her own spin off series The Sarah Jane Adventures that has been commisioned for a second series. Main guests I would ask for are; John Barrowman David Tennant James Marsters (Couldn't go on the day he went to Collectormania in November last year) Billie Piper (Would love to meet her again) Freema Agyeman Catherine Tate (New companion :) she was great in Partners in Crime) Eve Myles Burn Gorman (Cancelled last time unfortunately) Naoko Mori (Cancelled last time unfortunately) Gareth David-Lloyd Elisabeth Sladen Would especially love to meet them but other Doctor Who\Torchwood\The Sarah Jane Adventures guests will be great Edited April 7, 2008 by Doctor Who
