I met Malcolm McDowell and got him for Heroes and Blue Thunder:The Movie

He was absolutely great and indeed I got more of a reaction to the Blue Thunder poster. He said how he had'nt seen that poster before.

Was so impressed I got gestured back and he added the phrase his character used in the film "Click, Catch you later"

Met Danny Webb as well, and he was a really cool guy , who chatted at length about his time on Doctor Who .

Today, I got:

Grame Harper's book (Calling the Shots), signed by both authors.

Katy Manning and John Levene's autographs. ()

A Doctor Who T-Shirt

The script to An Unearthly Child. (Published as 'The Tribe of Gum')

I'd also like to add that Katy Manning is completely bonkers, but incredibly lovely.

And tomorrow, I'll probably get some more stuff.

...Yay!

I didn't get anything today HOWEVER I have more money for tomorrow so I hope to buy something.

Definitely going to buy this really nice picture from a clockwork orange, I can't remember where it was or the size, it was quite big, had like a montage of pictures in black and white, should be nice signed and framed.

I don't know what else to buy though.

I got 2 professional shots, one with Malcolm and one with Lance, then I got signed photos of:

Lance Henriksen

Malcolm McDowell

Jason Momoa (x2) he only had Stargate ones but I found a Baywatch one and went back with that

Nancy Loomis

Kristine Sutherland

Claudia Christian

As well as photos with all of the above, I think the only other thing I bought were some autograph plastic wallets and a photo of John Schneider for next week :). It was a great day out!

Actually I was really surprised cos with the professional shoot pics, I expected to get one of each, I got 3 with Lance and 2 with Malcolm which was a pleasant surprise.

OK Yesterday was just John Levene's auto ( and boy is he a loopy hippy type ) but had a surreal chat with him and Katy Manning about Nick Courtney's choice of pen colour when signing things

Today was Sarah Sutton's auto ( very charming even though I ended up talking to the crew member about Carl Fogarty being at A.N.Other show next week ) and Peter Davison's auto too ( Very rushed so only a couple of sentences but he was a lot friendlier that I'ld been told ! ) then went to the Dr Who talk or Q&A session and was happily surprized at how much it reminded me of the old Manopticon conventions ( Especially when Katy shows how to do a Dalek voice properly ...)

Next to the artist Carolyn Edwards stand and got a cat print called "To Catch a Dream"

Finally to Derek's Trading Cards for a relic card RC13 from the Complete James Bond trading card set...for a lot less than the 500GBP people want on eBay

I was a bit dissapointed with the stalls.

Not a lot of vintage collectables going on as it seemed to be the usual new WHO stuff and the obligitary Chucky dolls .

I thought i got a real bargain with my Mego Zaius Planet of the Apes figure only to get home and realise his boots were odd.

Now i have to search the net for the correct boot...

bugger.

A picture that was a fiver

I only went on the Saturday so no idea if there were more stalls on the Sunday (But dammit 3 of the best talks were on the Sunday). I thought the amount of stalls in comparison to last November were tiny. Kinda dissapointed me. Anyways i got:-

-Malcolm McDowell's autograph on my Clockwork orange poster

-Michael Tarn's autograph on my Clockwork orange poster

- Danny Dyer's autograph for the girlfriend

- A grindhouse b-movie double bill DVD (Dead riot/ Flesh for the beast)

- A Kung Fu triple dvd box set

I thoroughly enjoyed the day, but wish there'd been more stalls, it seemed empty compared to last year. Maybe it was the lack of the giant Hot Fuzz/ The return ad in the centre lol.

Went to the Red Dwarf talk and Danny Dyer's talk, which were both really good fun. But dammit next year more stalls!
