Yes my dad used to be in the army. Then we settled in Norfolk and I moved to Liverpool for Uni and met my boyfriend so have ended up staying here.

 

I thought so when you posted used to live in aldershot but didn't want to assume, thats cause I used to go dry slop skiing there and the slop was near an army place.

Now i live in northamptonshire, well daventry (chaventry as us locals call it) to be precise. Its not the best place in the world but i got a ton of great mates here so Im happy

I'm from Kilmarnock in Ayrshire. I live near Nottingham now though, but I voted for my home-county! Mad Scottish people forever!

 

I'm with you there Turk, I place myself firmly in the Mad Scotish people catagory. I'm from Burntisland in Fife orginally but I used to spend quite a bit of time down Ayrshire way as one of my best friends at uni was from Monkton. I'm living down in Northampton now though I'm hoping to move back to Scotland one day.

Oh yes. I can honestly say I don't fit the mould at all, so love doing a poker faced 'I'm an Essex girl and I don't find that funny' when people are doing the jokes. How to shut up the boring 'comedians' with one shot I'm also proud of the fact that I escaped, mind you

 

I'm from Essex as well, but I put Devon as that's where I've been for the past 7 years.

 

I don't fit the mould either, but I was in M&S in Exeter once and there was an elderly guy badmouthing Essex an it's people. I just stood behind him with a sly grin on my face, but inside it was the only time I've ever had yobbish thoughts.

 

So my sister's an Essex girl... and I work with two others in fact.

I live in Rainham now but used to live in Chafford Hundred near Lakeside shopping centre, though most of my friends who go to the sci-fi / trek group I belong to, also live in Southend.

I'm from Lancashire. I'm ignoring the fact that they keep changing our boundaries. I was BORN in Lancashire and haven't moved from my house bar a 3 year uni stint so I STILL live in Lacnashire and no council/government red tape will convince any of us otherwise!! Ha!
