John Cleese TECHNICALLY played different characters in the last 2 Bonds ....

Caroline Bliss ? (Dalton's Moneypenny)

Joe Don Baker

Colin Salmon ... no, he has signed before ....

rainmac -

possibly got it -

Pamela Sue Martin

Shes in Poseidon Adventure

in the 70s she played Nancy Drew on tv (doesn't that character wear a rainmac?)

and she was going to be at another show the same weekend as Autographica but now shes not

(the bit about not being quite fast enough to get her, but now shes coming)

So,

my guesses -

Clifton James & Pamela Sue Martin

Yer the Bond guest has got to be Clifton James!! I havent got his autograph so it would be great if it was him!

He was in 2 Bond films as the same character, he lives in the US and has never come over to the UK to do a signing and he's a memorable character.

and Robbie Coltrane would be OFF THE HOOK !

I saw Robbie down Shaftsbery Avenue last week, he refused to sign for people though and just walked away and got into his car.

Was he cheeky about it ? See I can understand saying no if you're just walking down the street in your own time. Maybe at a proper "event" he would be different ...

I thought about Robbie Coltrane but then again he lives in the UK and the clue said something like "never graced are shores before" so i thought it would have to be someone from the US.

Thats why i think its Clifton James

Yeah, because if you look at a map of the world, it goes UK ..... USA ..... END !

Bond of all franchises, the guest could be of ANY nationality !

Lol yer i didnt quite mean it like that - I was thinking overshores as in anywhere in the world but the USA as Clifton James is from there and he was in 2 Bond films as the same character - is a memorable character and hasnt done a UK signing.

I cant think of anyone else who would fit the bill.

I did think of Eva Rueber-Staier who is from Austria and played Rublevitch in both TSWLM and OP - but she was acutally in another Bond film - FYEO but was credited as Eva Reuber-Staier.

So in reality she was in 3 Bond films as the same character but as for names sake only 2. - I thought maybe Dave was going to toil with us but im probaly totally wrong lol :( --- so bring on Clifton James!
