StevieB
Glad you guys enjoyed yourselves, I was at Bluewater last night and saw it for the 4th time! It was just as excellent as my first viewing, so when this is released go see it again and again, this is a film that demands sequels! Hope to see some of you on the 5th October for the red carpet Premiere in Leicester Square, then we can let Joss know personally what we think of his kick-ass movie! Showmasters Admin Too Tall Posted September 21, 2005 Showmasters Admin Share Posted September 21, 2005 I have to say though. This film is just amazing. I love it to bits. It has already become one of my all time fav films. It's definitely in the top 5. It starts off on a role and never stops. It just doesn't have a quiet bit, there is always something going on. As has been said before it's just a shame as it would have made an awesome second season. Everyone has to go and see it
GoldenGreen
I still haven't seen it, I am hanging on till it officially opens, but not sure how I am managing. I have read the comics, got the figures, the t-shirt, the autos, the visual companion, just got to see the movie, only a few weeks to go now. StevieB
I managed to nab a couple of tickets for the Premiere, anyone else manage to get in? Don't panic too much elwebb, most places have screenings on the 6th and it is on general release from the 7th. Seeing as you said you are stil in school, I thought I had better check you are 15 or over? It's a 15 certificate, I wouldn't want to be accused of corrupting the youth of today! GoldenGreen
Just in case you haven't read my signature over the last few months and my blatant plugging for the film. Serenity opens across 2200 Cinemas today (Friday 30 September 2005) in the good old U.S.A. Go Browncoats ! In the U.K. we have to wait until next week . onewingedangel
loved the film, but why does joss have to torment us so - building up the characters and killing them off so - one of the deaths I didn't mind, but the other had a lot of backstory still unexplored. At one point of the film, where everyone is cornered in and the situation was grave, it would not have suprised me if joss had killed them all off, a sacrafice for speading the signal - I guess thats why he keeps letting characters die, so that we never feel that anything can't happen because they're a main character etc.
red8886
OH MY GOD i just finally saw the film and i was totally blown away. i must confess i was expecting just a long episode but it is definatly a film in its own right Although how much do i hate Joss Whedon killing characters left right and centre. all i can say is bring on Serenity 2. (and yeah how pleased was i Inara was hardly in it)
GoldenGreen
The movie was a real rollercoaster ride of emotions, I was laughing and crying, that Joss sure knows how to mess with your mind ! It didn't disappoint, now the question is, will we get a sequel ?
