Ive been using Photoimpact up until the 30 day trial ran out and I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good software for making icons? You can download both from download.com I think. But if youn like, you could send me the pics and phrases you want in the icon and I'll make them for you? skyriderz20 Posted May 8, 2005 Share Posted May 8, 2005 Photoshops probably the best option, but theres loads of other alternative packages available that will do the job. Icons can even be done in paintbrush, but the quality isnt that good. If you wanted the icons so be simple, vector based images, the best option would be to do them in Adobe Illustrator. Theres loads of packages available, mostly do the same thing, its just that PS is the best due to its clever use of layers.
