HOW / WHY DID ATLANTIS RISE FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN

The power was slowly draining but as things were being activated the city came to life, it was an automatic "coming to life" system that made the city rise...that and the fields failing.

What's the name of Teyla's race?

Sorry I don't agree with your answer.

The city was powering up as they were walking around it and this was causing the power drain that ultimately started the shields to fail. But the city rising was not part of the city "coming to life".

The city actually started rising because the shields were failing and the city was starting to flood, the city had a built in safety feature that made it surface rather than completely flood.

They talk about it when McKay has the personal shield on. Weir says she doesn't believe that the ancients would build something that would ultimately kill someone and that it would probably have a safety shut off like the city had a built in safety feature that raised the city to stop it from flooding.

Couldn't survive the love bite that wraith gave him  (And pretty sure Shep shot him as well but its been a while)

What is the name of the Atlantis crew's gate technician? (aka the Walter of Atlantis)

That's pretty much it. He did ultimatly die of being shoot by Shep but he was pretty dead from the wrath anyway. It's why Shep shot him.

The actor is Craig Veroni and the character is called Peter Grodin. Unless you're talking about Dr Rodney McKay of course..... :)

What did Dr Rodney McKay suggest was good about "football" when Teyla, Sheppard, Ford and Weir (at a point) were discussing it? *i forget the episode*
