GoldenGreen
There have been loads of threads debating whether Michael or Jason are the tops, but maybe, you prefer someone (or something) else. So here is your chance to vote, and if you want to back up your case post below.
Moderators DavidB Posted November 12, 2004 Moderators Share Posted November 12, 2004 Gonna have to say Pinhead just to be different. The first Hellraiser scared the crap outta me when I saw it first time around. Well .. not scared .. more disgusted lol
Rockybalboa
Went for Myers, although I have just got into the Predator movies and think that they are pretty awesome!

Jason_Voorhees
I casted a null vote. Â Every character offers something to the mix and I like certain characters for different reasons so as much as i'm a Jason fan I decided to sit on the fence with this one. GoldenGreen
OMG ! Â Pennywise the Clown. Â Scarier in the book , than in the film though. Â Great horror is often in the mind !
aliens vs predator
I voted for leather face, it's horrible when he's sprinting after his victim with a chainsaw!! I would've voted alien if it had been there.

Nevermore
Wishmaster, because I fricking love those films. Â Â Djinn, man, is a believable nightmare. Â But Andrew Divoff just makes Demerest so fricking groovy! Â 'Do you know how frustrating it is to have all the power in the universe, but only be able to use it when a little worm like you wishes for something?' dragonmate1
being almost an 'oldie' on here.. The best screen monster of all time in my opinion is the Frankenstein Monster.. Â The effect of this on the general public at the time of release was far greater than anything that Jason or Freddy and that gang could produce.. I suppose the closest 'modern' film for affecting the public in the same way as Frankenstein has to be Regan in the Exorcist.
Discipline
i cast a vote in favour of another of John Carpenter's cinematic monstrousities... "The Thing" Â Still not able to look at a husky to this day without expecting its head to peel open...
borgteddy
I voted for Freddy Krueger. But since I love the Nightmare series, thats not a really a surprising vote.
Dr Sam Loomis
"there is a reason Jason Voorhees was approached instead of Michael Myers for the first serious versus horror movie, simply put, Jason is much stronger, and has more of a story behind him, hopefully one day, the ignorance of Halloween fans will subside, but for now, i'm compelled to live on in the knowledge that Michael myers is actually popular among the horror masses, paah, what a strange world in which we all live" What a strange world you live in. Jason Voorhees isn't real so he couldn't have been "approached" for Freddy Vs Jason (which I assume you are referring too). The reason he was chosen, was because New Line Cinema owns the rights to both characters and therefore didn't have to pay fees to anybody else for use of their characters. (It's also the reason that rumours, which were unfounded in any reality, that a Myers Vs Pinhead movie began, because Dimension owns both characters). Your ill informed continual slagging off of Michael Myers and Halloween is just making you look more stupid with every post you make.
Jason_Voorhees
This argument is just annoying now. Â Agree to disagree.

Jason_Voorhees
Its not about admitting defeat. Its about people having different opinions on things. I don't like it as much as you do but there's no need to encourage him.
jamroll
Michael Myers is the best for me.
