LOTR Fan
I think train fares vary depending on how far in advance you book, what time you travel and if you have any railcards. You'd have to check but I'm sure you could find cheaper fares

Dum dumdum Dum
I'm not sure yet where I am flying into yet but I think a group of us (ok maybe 2) are going to rent a car to avoid our £42 taxi ride from C3 (Luton - Holiday Inn). there is a bus though from Luton that cost about £3 and it stopped right outside the MK center.....doh - oh well next time! Dum dumdum Dum
A £42 taxi ride? Ouch! That's quite a hefty sum Tell me about it....all that because I was too excited to wait for 1h30 at Luton to get the bus and the hotel website said it would be about £25 for a cab - humph. Oh well got me there in time to have a nice night out in the Hilton with a bunch of nutters *waves*
Showmasters Admin showmasters Posted August 16, 2003 Showmasters Admin Share Posted August 16, 2003 I would recommend getting the tube from Heathrow to London Victoria then get a bus from London to MK. It costs around £9 return. Kenny
