zebredy Posted July 1, 2004 Share Posted July 1, 2004 I just read in my friends SUN newspaper today that James has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. I dont know how long ago he was diagnosed or how long he has left to live, but he was a great actor. One of the best TOS characters for me. He's one of the few TOS character I would have, and did wait in a queue 3 hours to get an auto from. Infact he's one of the few Star Trek actors Im truly glad I had the chance to meet, and sitting here typing looking up at his auto framed standing on my shelf, I can only imagin what his family must be going through.
