  4. Latest Guest Announcement - Robert Duncan McNeill Appearing: Friday, Saturday & Sunday Robert Duncan McNeill fell in love with acting at an early age. While attending high school in Atlanta, Georgia, he began performing in regional theater companies. His first professional performance was an uncredited role in the Burt Reynolds starrer Sharkey’s Machine. Following his graduation from high school, he got a role in the national touring company of The Fantasticks, but when further success was slow to arrive, McNeill applied for and won a place at New York’s prestigious Julliard School. During this period he was cast in a recurring role on All My Children, for which he received a 1988 Daytime Emmy nomination. From soaps, McNeill slipped back to the stage, appearing in Into the Woods, Six Degrees of Separation, and Sam Shepard’s The Four-H Club. After relocating to Los Angeles, McNeill became a frequent guest on series television, including an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation. The behavior of his character in that episode, “The First Duty,” foreshadowed much that would come to typify Voyager’s Tom Paris, a role that McNeill won a few years later. During Voyager’s seven-year run, McNeill, like several of his fellow cast members, took advantage of Star Trek’s on-the-job “directors in training” program. Something about being on the other side of the camera must have clicked for him. Since 2002, McNeill has directed episodes of twenty-four different television series, including multiple episodes of Dawson’s Creek, One Tree Hill, Star Trek: Enterprise, Summerland, Desperate Housewives, The O.C., Las Vegas and, most recently, Chuck, where McNeill is currently an executive producer. 5. Latest Guest Announcement - Martha Hackett Appearing: Friday, Saturday and Sunday Martha Hackett is an actress from Boston, Massachusetts, best known for her role of Seska on thirteen episodes of Star Trek: Voyager. She also appeared in two episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine as a Romulan, portrayed a character in a deleted scene of the Star Trek: The Next Generation finale, and provided her voice in five Star Trek video games. She won a Dramalogue Award for her acting in the theatrical production Barbarians and has appeared in King Lear, The Revenger's Tragedy, Tom Walker (2001), and Happy End (2005). Her entry into the Star Trek universe came when she auditioned for the role of Jadzia Dax on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Although she didn't end up getting the part, which went to Terry Farrell, the producers did like something about her and she was called back to play the Terrellian pilot Androna in the series finale of Star Trek: The Next Generation, "All Good Things..." Unfortunately, her storyline was cut from the final production. A few months later she was called in to play Subcommander T'Rul, a Romulan on Deep Space Nine, in the episodes "The Search, Part I" and "The Search, Part II". It was then a director called her, saying they wanted her for a role coming up later that season, on the new Trek series Star Trek: Voyager. When brought aboard to play Seska, she was promised a recurring role though there was no guarantee of the number of episodes, and the writer had not fully figured out her character yet. All she was told about the character was that "she was a member of the Maquis, and she's not so happy with Janeway." It wasn't until her fourth appearance in "State of Flux" that she knew Seska was "more than a little unhinged," and she was perfectly fine with the fact her character was a villain. In 1995, Hackett found out that she was pregnant. Unsure about how this would affect her future on the show, she went to tell them and was told, "Wow! We're writing it in anyway." So she was very pleased at the interesting coincidence. After Seska was killed off, she was pleasantly surprised to be called back later for the episode "Worst Case Scenario", and surprised again later in 2001 for the episode "Shattered". Hackett's favorite episode is "Maneuvers". Beside her work in canon Star Trek, Hackett played a Romulan again in an advertisement for Hallmark's Star Trek Christmas ornaments. She additionally portrayed Pok's mother in the 1996 video game Star Trek: Klingon and voiced Commander Saffi Larsen in the 2002 video game Star Trek: Bridge Commander as well as Dr. Stevenson in the 2003 game Star Trek: Elite Force II. Hackett also provided additional voices for the games Star Trek: Klingon Academy (2000) and Star Trek: Armada II (2001). Profile courtesy of Memory Alpha Wikia
