Latest Guest Announcement - Vinette Robinson Sally Donovan Appearing: Saturday and Sunday Autograph: £10 Photo Shoot: £10 Having reached the age of 13, Vinette Robinson decided she no longer wanted to study to become a barrister, following a reading of a Charles Causley poem at a literary festival. Instead she became intent on becoming an actor, and following her television debut in 1999 in \'The Cops\' for the BBC, her education proceeded with that in mind, spending three years at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, joining alumni that include Angela Lansbury, Minnie Driver, Amanda Root, Julia Ormond, and Terence Stamp. Her credits include roles in 'Doctor Who' episode '42' opposite David Tennant and Freema Agyeman, 'Cold Feet', 'Hustle', 'Casualty', 'Murphy's Law', the entire fifth series of 'Waterloo Road' as Helen Hopewell. She replaced Zawe Ashton as Sergeant Sally Donovan in 'Sherlock'. In film, she has appeared in Mike Leigh's 'Vera Drake' [2004] and 'Powder' [2010]. On stage her credits include 'Measure for Measure' [2004] at the National Theatre, a sequence of four plays with the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2005, and a national tour of 'War & Peace' [2008]. In late 2011 and early 2012 Vinette played Ophelia opposite Michael Sheen as Hamlet in a sold out season at the Young Vic in London. More recently Vinette has been seen in 'Delicious' and 'The A Word'
