Question about the Doctors (WHO)
Chaya replied to dogsoldierspoon's topic in London Film & Comic Con 2018
I had Diamond for Chris, David and Peter, because I luckily have met Matt at another event already. On Sunday I got Chris and David early without any problems and with dedications. Queuing was open to all diamond passes by that time. For the autograph with Peter I had to wait very long. I stood in the queue at 11am and at 2pm twice for a while. Nobody told me by then that they were handling the diamonds by numbers. As I had a high number, I didn't have to arrive before 5pm actually. I returned to Peter's queue at 4pm and waited there until I finally got my autograph at 6.30pm. By that time only one autograph without dedication were given. Actually Peter dedicated anyway. The organization from 4pm was very well, although it was disappointing for me, that the higher diamond numbers due to the time problems were reduced to just one autograph without dedication, while the ones in the morning were treated differently. In my opinion the diamond passes for Peter were oversold. He had 5 photo shoots and a talk on Sunday and therefore not much time for autographs. The next time I would be happy when not overselling diamond passes for a guest and/or in case of many people having diamond passes for a guest to organize it better from the beginning. Apart from this I like to thank Showmasters for bringing so much Doctors to the con. I would be happy if Tom Baker will be invited again next year, because without a diamond pass for him I was not able to get an autograph this year. -
Ingrid Oliver also speaks German fluently because of German ancestors. She dedicated my autograph in German.

I did, they couldn't or wouldn't do anything at that moment. I think, the purpose of a forum is to say what was suboptimal, so that Showmasters can improve next time. During waiting in that queue I had plenty of time typing that text, at home I won't. I visit LFCC many years now and I am happy that they are always willing to listen to their customers and improve things.

At 9 a.m.I asked for a VQ-ticket and they told me it was an open Q. At about 9:20 a.m. I came back. Pilou had arrived and there were about 10-15 people queueing. They didn't let me queue and gave me a VQ-ticket with a low number (under 100). OK, Fine, Then I can come back any time later and do not have to wait too long, I thought. Actually, I like the VQs very much. At 11:00 a.m. I showed up once again, it was still number 1-35. OK, fine, Athen I come back later. Now at 2 p.m. it's open Q again an there are about 100 people queueing. What about my low numbered VQ-ticket??? I stood in the Q more than 40 minutes (just finished), altough I had a low numbered VQ-ticket and showed up three times before today. Not very amusing. Thank you very much, Showmasters!

OK, hanks for the hint. With Mac/Safari I couldn't see and order, even after refreshing. With Mac/Chrome it worked now.

I like to buy a Wil Wheaton Diamond Pass, but they vanished in the shop. This morning I still saw them. Are the Wil Wheaton Diamond Passes sold out?

Compared to last year showmasters have improved a lot, thank you! The positives: The entry hall - no worries about bad queueing-weather anymore Getting the wristband after entering the hall - no waste of time by entering of the event at 9:00 much space inside the venue main stage and fotosessions all on level 1 the board gaming zone But there are still things to improve for next year. The negatives: Diamond Pass Collection: On Thursday I had to wait more than 90 minutes for the collection of my diamond passes. The main reason was to get the big photographies as well on Thursday for not having to carry them on Friday or Saturday. Unfortunately they just gave me the pass, not the goodies. I could have easily collected the pass on Friday then... On Saturday morning there were at first no VQ-tickets for Natalie Tena and other GoT actors. As I went back to their tables at about 11 am to join the openQ there wasn't openQ and I got a number of about 400. Hello? Why did I come at 9 am then to get good numbers for all actors and there wasn't VQ-tickets at that time? And no hint there wuld be later. Next time please plan that better in advance.

The diamond pass includes "In person autograph". I'm confused, is the other autograph for 35,- GBP not "in person"? And will there be more GoT-Guest with Diamond Passes? Will the BIG LFCC Game of Thrones talk then be included in all the Diamond Passes? Will there be discount for the other Diamond Passes then? -
LFCC 2015 - SOME HONEST FEEDBACK
Chaya replied to CreamPye's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2015
I second that suggestion. My battery also died early (soon after lunchtime) during both days. If I had not printed my tickets I would have been lost. Even better than a mere recharge area would be a big recreation and recharge area. -
LFCC 2015 - SOME HONEST FEEDBACK
Chaya replied to CreamPye's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2015
Such a big event is hard to organize and show masters does a good job, but with the new size of the event and the new location there are many things that have to be improved. I had the following three major problems: 1.) On Saturday at about 12:30 pm I needed about 30 minutes to leave the third floor. At the only stairs down as well as in front of the lifts there were massive queues to get down. That is not only inconvenient for the attendants but also very dangerous in case of an emergency. 2.) The locations of the photo areas B/C/D were not very well chosen. The waiting areas outside were too small for the amount of people and way too close to the stalls. I would recommend to put all photo areas on the first floor and - in exchange - put dealers down on the ground floor alongside the walls. That would also help people who have clashes and need to change between the photo areas quickly. 3.) Yes, I just had the MJF-Talk on Saturday. I came 30 minutes earlier and joined the queue in front of the hall. As I wondered that there were not so many people and no batches were called, I went to the staff at the door to ask them how the entrance was going to be handled. They told me I had to go to the back entrance. Surprise, surprise! At this point I had 15 minutes left until the beginning of the talk and didn't really know the way to the other entrance. I finally entered the hall with the last attendants and just in time - very exhausted. As far as I could see there was no poster and no information at all (e. g. with the ticket) that standard ticket holders had to go to the back entrance. I wonder how other people got to know that? Where could I have obtained the information??? -

How does this work, if I paid with credit card? Is it also possible to get the money cash at LFCC? And what about the shipping costs I have paid?
