Just heard about this from a British friend of mine living in the States... terrible shock to hear he has passed away... only 58 too, very sad indeed. Had the pleasure of meeting him some years back and he was a really genuine guy and we had a few good laughs as we chatted. Shame he's no longer with us. Respect.

received my photo shoot ticket in the post today

I have NEVER had any photo shoots at previous SM events as I usually can't afford them.... however today is my birthday so just treated myself! One photo shoot ticket ordered! Happy Birthday to me... etc

just a heads up for anyone going tomorrow that was planning on using one of the free wheelchairs, if you havent booked in advance there are no more available. I rang today to enquire how much deposit was needed to loan one and was told they are now all booked out. Hopefully as I'm only coming to see two guests I'll manage with my crutches and the occasional sit down but just thought I'd mention it for anyone else who didnt book earlier.

not used it myself yet but been recomended this place for parking on sunday - kings mall multi storey car park. They have a website if you search on google. Very very reasonable price, about a mile away from Olympia but you can catch a bus back to venue if you prefer not to walk.
