  1. When i saw Patrick Stewart yesterday about 3.45pm he wasn't there because of the cold. I was told if enough people are in the queue to bring him back then they would. Thats understandable because of his age but not great if you want to get him or someone he knows back for us again. I had a great time yesterday but nearly missed out on Patrick because he may not have come back out. Just wonder whether its the best enviroment and venue to get high calibre guests like Patrick to come back or there in the first place? Im not so sure.:D

  2. Being a season ticket holder at Ipswich i can confirm this is Kevin. I recommend meeting him if you are a footy fan the guys an absolute gent and will talk to you till the cows come home. And yeah Sir Bobby said he was the most gifted centre half and one of the most gifted players he's ever worked with and bearing in mind he worked at Barcelona, PSV and with England thats very high praise indeed. Just very unfortunate with an operation he had when he was younger that was done by a doctor that wasnt his own normal one and never properly recovered after. :jason:

  3. Bulloch will be there too, what about a duo photoshoot? :D

You could even add Alan Harris, or Tem Morrison, that would make a great photo dont you think?

And I wouldnt mind more Boba guests like the rare John Morton who is also playing Dak in ESB, stuntmen Dickey Beer who just started doin signings/events and Glenn Randall Jr, Mark Austin (ANH), R2 operators Nelson Hall & Don Bies (ROTJ:SE), or Jason Wingreen (even if he cant sign for long a photo opportunity would be great, especially with Bulloch there).

ESB assistant editor, Duwayne Dunham, would be pretty awesome. Like Alan Harris, but early in ESB creation, he had the chance to test early prototypes of Boba Fett costume.

And apparently, Peter Roy also wore the costume, before Alan Harris tested and Bulloch got the part.

Other possible Boba guests would be the voices from the much loved radio-drama, Alan Rosenberg and Ed Begley Jr. That last one is well know and was Flight Sgt. Greenbean in the original BSG, he appeared in two episode of Star Trek Voyager, The West Wing, Boston Legal, 8 episodes of Six Feet Under, 6 for Veronica Mars, etc

Also, Clone Wars actors Dee Bradley Baker (clonetroopers) and Tom Kane (Yoda), both voiced Boba Fett in various video games, including The Force Unleashed. And Chris Cox (Captain Atom in Justice League).

And lets not forget Don Francks who voiced Boba in the Droids cartoon (and possibly the Holiday Special? would love to find out). He did some other voice works like Sabretooth in X-men.

Now I dont expect you to go that far, I didnt even mention EU radio-drama :P but Tom Kane, Dee Bradley Baker, and Ed Begley Jr would be pretty reasonable I think.

    Amen

A Fett clan photoshoot with Tem Morrison, Jeremy Bulloch and Dan would be pretty awesome! Just a thought!:yoda:

  5. And if you havent found out who Bill Paxton is yet he was the whiney marine in Aliens, the dad in Thunderbirds, the car salesman in True Lies and the lead in Twister! Id really like a big Star Wars guest Ian McDairmid, James Earl Jones, Frank Oz would be awesome too.

Ahh. See, I've never seen Aliens or Twister  (twister scared me when I was little and I haven't got round to seeing it since...). I haven't seen True Lies or Thunderbirds in ages either. but I totally agree about the Star Wars guests. And I can dream and hope for Hayden Christensen and Natalie portman too

Oh yeah forgot about Natalie Portman :D

  6. Id love it to be a big Star Wars guest that hasnt been before like James Earl Jones or even one who has Mark Hamill, but would be chuffed with Ralph Macchio or Bill Paxton, though have to admit the line up is pretty good already!

Any Star Wars guest would be fine by me! I'd love it to be Mark Hamill, but as he's done something in the UK before this guest isn't him... I've no clue who it could be, I just hope I'll want to meet them!

  7. Caps is annoying. And correct spelling and punctuation *is* important.

For one thing, as has already been pointed out, it can take a moment or three to decipher certain messages which are written with a ... somewhat liberal attitude to spelling and punctuation. So from a certain point of view it can be said to be a little rude - assuming your time is more valuable than the people who each have to spend a few minutes figuring out what you're trying to say.

For another thing, incorrect spelling can completely change the meaning of a reply. "Whose" and "who's" are notorious for this; "are" and "our" can often be confusing too.

And finally, punctuation is just as bad too. I once caused offence to a girl because she couldn't be bothered to use correct punctuation. I asked her "good journey?" and she replied "Not really very long". I took this to mean that the journey had not really been very long and therefore this was a good thing. So I said "Good". She got upset because she had intended the meaning to have a comma between "really" and "very" ... A piece of punctuation which *completely* changes the meaning of her reply.

Correct spelling and punctuation are really *not* hard to learn and should *not* be considered optional extras ...

As you put up there on your post- "So from a certain point of view it can be said to be a little rude - assuming your time is more valuable than the people who each have to spend a few minutes figuring out what you're trying to say" -you are right its also annoying when people cant take time to read previous posts or choose to ignore them and bring the topic and arguement back up again. We were trying to move on!!
