Personally i am loving the new Merlin programme on BBC1. Ok it isnt Doctor Who or Robin Hood, but i am really enjoying it!

Actually the Hockey Stadium hosted parties previously to that, and the C13 one was indeed at the MK Dons Stadium. Thanks for that!!

Can i just ask that people are aware that it is the new MK Dons Stadium in Bletchley and not the old MK Dons Hockey Stadium?? Silly thing to meniton really, but there were a couple of posts on here mentioning the CM13 party, which i believe was held at the hockey stadium. Moving on from that, my word there are heaps of comments on here!! I personally love going to Collectormania (and have offically been called a geek!), yes it did help wondering round the shops to pass the time whist waiting for your VT number to come up. But as people have said, surely if it is held in a bigger venue it will attract bigger names guests? Or am i just hoping? I think that this whole move is a great thing. I am not one for venturing further afield (LFC&C, Midlands etc), although yes, if MK was cancelled completely then i would. Alternatively all the stars could come to my house and fish for the weekend!! Roll on CM 15 - yeah baby

i was up CMK this morning (going back tomorrow) and the whole of Collectormania seemed very quiet! not at all like normal!!! such a shame, but i still enjoyed it!!

I persoanlly think that moving to a larger venue is a positive thing. However i have neved been to Earls Court for the London Film & Comic Con. There is enough around the football staduim, Next, TK Maxx, Matalan, Ikea, Asda, Tesco. Ok not as good as the CMK, but the centre is not a million miles away. As some one has already mentioned, Showmasters will be able to bring back talks, and also possible more than one photo shoot at a time. Surely it can only be a good thing???!!!

I would say the earlier you get there, the better chance you have of posed photos. I was very lucky today and got posed photos from her and Amber

As far as i can recall, there is a small travel lodge / hotel thing in Fenny Stratford, about 10 mins or so from the Stadium, but that is really all. All the main hotels are in CMK! Whether or Showmasters will set something up for travelling is another issue. Or unless a hotel is built right next to the Stadium!!!!

She was today, but i guess because it was quiet! I'm back on Sunday to get a couple more! To be honest i have never has a problem with any guest not being friendly. I think that as long as you smile and say hi, then they will respond back!!! but i have been known to be wrong!

I saw a couple of very large posters. One on the Organisers Booth and one on the side of the trade stands. It was very difficult not to see it. However it did say free parking, which is really all i noticed!!!

Shame about the party being cancelled. I would like to recommend a pub in Toddington called The Bell. Whilst i appreciate that it is slightly out of MK and means driving or getting a taxi, i guarantee it would be well worth it. This Saturday they have an awesome karaoke come disco with an even more awesome guy called Rich. Anyway its just an idea.

I sent Mick @ MSPS on Weds 9th, but never had a reply. Hopefully he will be fully stocked up!
