A lot of DVDs and games have been on sale at one price, then gone up so that once the discount is added you're near the price you started with. But then people buy thinking they are getting a bargain. that's what they done with the kids clothes aswell

the metrocentre store is closing in 3 day's and our local woolworths is closing in a week. i agree with lizzy, the prices are still ridiculous i loved shopping at woolies but like anywhere else you could always get alot of the stuff cheaper if you were able to shop around. sorry .. forgot to say the sale stock was down to 70% when i was there earler

i think sometimes it's just rumours that get out of control. im a huge rocky horror fan, i'd booked up to see tim curry in spamalot. i had a gorgeous 10x8 of him as frank but i was dreading asking him because there were loads of rumours about him 'never wanting to have anything to do with rocky' he wont sign pictures he wont even discuss it. but he was fantastic, he loved the still and was really chatty and friendly. it was'nt just a one off either cos i met him a few week's later and he was just as nice

yes, i know the term is used. still doesnt make it right. i dont come on here to pick fight's i have never come online to pick a fight. i was offended by the word used and replied to it.

sorry to get serious but this is a matter very close to me. obviously it's not offensive to you but it was used as a derogitory (sp?) term. that's why it was and is offensive. i know the term is used but it's the first time ive seen it used on a forum, i suppose i was just a bit shocked.

so the only way you can express yourself is to use words that are very hurtful to people with disabilities?

thank you for commenting on her use of that word as a mother of a child with severe learning difficulties i find it very offensive
