Aww Natfrog, bless you! We're not just LIKE a family. We ARE a family. It's crazy but we are. Cosplay was what bought us together and now I refer to Sam and Paul as my brothers, Tiff and Jemma as my sisters and Jo as my husband. :)

When I mentioned this to Sam she smacked me and called me an idiot. I might have to do the same lol In fairness I'm just coming off a birth control that seriously messed up my hormones to where I'm now depressed, paranoid and anxious constantly I was having panic attack after panic attack at ET3, breaking down every time I had a shower or was alone in my room, the walls were closing in, etc. Paul was a godsend taking care of me when I was bad, I can't even begin to tell you guys. But yeah, the depression and anxiety won't go away and I have seriously crap self esteem anyway.

Of course I'm always available for hugs. Touchthesky: I had a total breakdown more than once at the con. The one that was over the cosplay was during the costume talk when the Hillywood Show stuff was on and one of our group commented "Our rosalie is better than theirs" but no comment on our Alice so I got over sensitive and upset about it. I have this crazy paranoia that someone's going to turn up and be like a picture perfect Alice and my group will dump me. No reflection on my wonderful beautiful Cullens, just my self esteem is horrible and I'm always scared of being ditched.

It's adorable how passive aggressive people are on these boards. ^.^

I'm thinking of quitting cosplay. At ET3 I broke down in the shower and nearly refused to cosplay again because I'm finding it stressful and can't cope. I love being Alice, so much, but if there's going to be drama and stress then it's not worth it to me.

I don't think it was intended as that either, I know Lily well enough to know that wasn't her plan, but it's sadly what it seems to have turned into.

Well said and I'm in agreement. If my name being there is putting anyone off of cosplaying Alice then I'd like to be removed too. We are our own group, we don't want to drag people into a "clique", we're a group of close friends who love what we do. Being the Cullens is what bought us together and we love it and eachother, but we don't want to alienate others by making them feel like we own the characters. Yes, Alice means a hell of a lot to me but I happily admit I don't own her and I know many many of you will be cosplaying her at some time or another. I really hope other people take the same joy in cosplay, and form the same sorts of bonds due to it, as me, Jo, Sam, Paul, Tiff and Jemma have. :)

I have to admit I'm the teensiest bit concerned that this is like... casting the roles and people are going to feel alienated like they'll see my name and go "Oh, there's already an Alice I can't be her" or Sam's name and go "Well now I can't be Edward" which of course is daft, none of us own these characters we just enjoy playing with them from time to time. I happen to know that one of my friends has been put off of cosplaying by seeing a character on here who's been claimed, which makes me really sad. So at any rate, even if a character has been "claimed" it doesn't mean you can't dress as them too. :)

Lisa you need to add heat, it's the only way you're gonna get your ends to bleach out. blast it with a hair dryer and that should help strip the colour faster. That's why your roots will bleach so fast, the heat from your head sees to that!

OMG I'm in HEAVEN. Jasper (Rogue26) bought me some of this for Christmas and I love it. I want more. XD Yaaay. Wonder why they don't have the lip venom though.

OMG what is it with people and that picture. Half of you go BOOOOOOOOBS and the other half are all NICE BRA and everyone forgets to look at the tattoo. I like to show the whole area cuz it shows how the tattoo curves with the body. Oh and the bra is from M&S The body is a limited edition and is not available for purchase.

I bought the second ones for my civil war costume... personally I think the first are more rosalie though.

I filled my application form in about a week ago and then looked at the prices and kinda just went "ehhh.....bugger" For the OU? You can get it all funded for you lol. Or for college? In which case god knows on funding. Its actually for TOCES its The Open College of Equine Studies its like £450 for the course if you do the study week aswell. Sadly can't get any funding what so ever. Epic fail you should be able to get some kind of funding. Everyone should get free funding for education as far as I'm concerned, they'd more than pay it back in taxes if we allowed everyone to get the education they desired.

Edward is a filthy pervert but I've known that for ages. Just the way I love my big brother. Shockingly it wasn't THAT painful but I live with chronic pain so I guess I'm used to it and it wouldn't bother me. It was worse that I couldn't wear a bra for nearly 2 weeks without it feeling like it was rubbing a carpet burn all the time.

I got the Jasper quote "I felt hope" on my ribs in honour of how I felt when I met my Cullens (You know who you are ) because they really lifted me out of illness and depression and gave me more hope in life. I would have got the full quote "You held out your hand and I took it without stopping to make sense of what I was doing. For the first time in almost a century, I felt hope." But it's way too long, lol.
