It's not even that the buildings are a dump; the tutors are substandard (with the exception of a few truly brilliant ones) and I found the grading was based on favouritism, not on who did the best work. Infuriated me and still does. I went there in 2006-2007.

Hi all, I'm from Broadstairs in Kent - so yes Evenstar there is!!! Aww damn someone closer than I am. I did go to college in Broadstairs, does that count? (Thanet college is a bit of a dump, I don't recommend it!)

I'm going to do volterra Alice I think but I need to decide where I'm ordering the coat from or if I'll be making it this time. Hmmmnnn. At any rate I decided months ago that if they bought back the Volturi theme I'd be doing that costume.

I guess I've just decided on my first costume. The saturday theme is going to be a Volturi ball, so I guess I shall be doing Volterra Alice for that theme. :)

I've done Birthday Alice in that dress and it went down a treat. :) Go for it!

I want to see Eclipse before I decide but eventually I want to have all of Alice's costumes hehe. I'll see how I feel after Eclipse really. :) Hopefully I won't have to re-cycle things I've already done though I'm not sure if we plan to break out Baseball again as that seems to be becoming a traditional costume for us all XD Baseball FTW!!! Sorry its my first Twilight costume so I'm kinda in love with it. I may recycle some costumes depending on what they do in Eclipse. I got a new birthday shirt thats all. A lighter one. Its up on facebook. I love baseball too. XD Plus it's a super comfy easy to dash about in costume. :)

Don't forget that making vs buying also has to factor in time, money and health. I didn't really make a damn thing for ET3 because my health was just too bad to allow for the sewing, I could barely sit upright some days let alone sit at my machine. I know *hug* But I know you wanted to. Yeah... I'm hoping my health is going to improve in time to make some of my costumes for ET4 rather than buying them all again.

Cosplaysky.com has twilight costumes, my wig came from Wigstylist on eBay (Before I cut my hair for Alice that is) A lot of our stuff comes from Ebay, or we make or modify something we find. I find Primark is fabulous for getting basic items I can then modify to be perfect. :)

But I swear your picture is in the competition Check the site gallery...if you are the pic will be there! Woo finally got it to submit, decided to go with baseball as it's the most recognisable of the costumes I have.

wow that eye make up is amazing!!!! sooo purdy!!! how'd you do it? lol i cant get make up to do what it's told If you go to xsparkage.com she has a tutorial for it, I just kinda looked at her pictures and ran with it, rather than following the video to the letter. :) That is awesome vicky, I want your eyes loads!!!! My eyes or the make-up? You cannot have my eyes O_O I need them! And they're pretty but don't see too good. Oh lord all the owls have me giggling my tiny spam off. XD

Whoop whoop, may I have a camwhore moment? I did my make-up today and I think it looks awesome. Does cosplaying make you feel closer to the characters and the whole Twilight world? I feel like it has for me. I need to find my own lil family of Cullens lol. It's stupid but cosplaying Rosalie and having an Emmett by my side would actually make me the happiest person ever! Jeez, it's late and I'm tired and look what I ramble on about!! xxxx Not really, it just makes me feel closer to my Cullens. I have to admit I'm soooo fond of Alice now, even fonder than I was before I cosplayed her, and I identify with her a lot. When I'm not coping I genuinely ask "what would Alice do?" hehe
