Nice idea, but there are few things duller on this forum that "<guest> is attending <event>. Please can you get them for <other event> as well ?" Also !! If you know aaaaaaanything about DW fandom, you will know that Tom Baker will NOT co-operate in multi-Doctor projects.

I hate when people say things like that and smugly don't bother telling us who that person is. At least Brian Dennehy's daughter was obvious.

I know Glasgow has to be grateful for anything they get, and SM can't promise specific guests, and DW is very popular at the minute, yada yada yada, but the full list at the minute is essentially a Doctor Who Convention. Even Michael Keating (predominantly a B7 guest) was also in DW. A tiny bit of variety would be nice .....

I want to meet Myanna Buring for Doctor Who, but wouldn't fork our for a Twilight con. I wanted to meet Stephen Toblowsky for various things, but not at the cost of a Heroes con. I wanted to meet Mark Rolston for The Shawshank Redemption, but wouldn't be fussed with a Supernatural con. Get the idea ? Of course we could all wait for these people to show up again, hopefully at EMS or LFCC, but that might never happen. So ...... what if ME offered a special ticket (£5-10) where you could get into ONLY an event's auto sessions, and fill your boots at £15 a signature (like full-on attendees getting "extras"). Of course there would be an obligation on punters to be there whenever in the day specific signings were, but surely nobody's gonna play the usual "logistical nightmare" card ?

With a digital copy, you can have BOTH .... and as many physical copies as you like.

Take the pic as well - they're free !! I'll be honest, the reimagined V was, for me, a huge disappointment. I know some people liked it, and that's cool, but I found it turgid. There was no real peril at any point, and the stories were sub soap-opera standard that didn't make sense on any real level. Most importantly I didn't care about the characters - and in the original, it was the characters that made the show, not the situation. Badler did a good job with what she was given - but she wasn't given much - and the end of the season 2 cliffhanger was cool, but it was just too late. That should have been the series 1 cliffhanger. I should say though, I don't blame Morena for any of that - or even Vandervoot. Like Badler they did their best with what they were given. The fault was with the writers, and the showrunner.... such a shame. Anyway, back on topic - really looking forward to meeting Jane Badler. That is going to be cool with a capital K Also my problem with the new one .... Let's fill the cast with hot chicks so nobody will notice it's c*rap. God it's difficult shopping for V merch on ebay .....

Not one for me, but I appreciate this is a big deal for Trekkies (LLAP etc). With due respect though, it might be better if well meaning mods didn't assume/anticipate how this new-fangled pre-paid auto situation will pan out. We've seen it so many times in the past when new features / processes are rolled out. People always get upset, confused, agressive etc ... just saying ....
