To Too Tall. Have SM come back to you with any rumlings of possible announcements? Are they aware of the feeling on the forum about the event?

Don't think they were too late. People just decided to not go because they couldn't get there. It was a lot quieter than it should of been.

They made a loss because of all the problems with the trains that weekend. Not enough people turned up beacuse they couldn't get there. The line that went straight there was closed as far as i remmber.

Couldn't you like book everything anyway and cancel it last minute if you decide not to go. I think the cost of cancellation will be lower than the economy you would make by reserving now instead of at the very last minute (hope you catch my drift there ...) If you book one of the budget airlines and cancel you don't get your money back. Over £100 down the drain.

They'd have to announce at least 2 a night between now and then to make that kind of number now.

has and will not ? You can understand our frustration though ? has (so far) and will not (EVEEEEER!) affect my decision to go. I absolutely understand your frustration, but there's nothing we can do. SMs will announce the names at the right time. For people to be ranting (... like a broken record) about the same thing so fervently, isn't helping anything. Not moaning like a broken record. I really want to go to the event but can't justify it with the amount of guests announced. Unlike people close to or living in London it's a major financial outlay before some people even get to the event. By the time i get flights and accomodation for 2 it's over £300. Int the past this has been ok because of the amount of guests advertised this close to the event but this time it's not worth it just now to pay that kind of money for a handful of guests. Really want to go but for only a handfull of guests it's not worth it. By the time you add the flights and hotels in the autographs end up costing over £100 each. Can justify it a lot more if there more guests.

Don't be so sure. From a finacial point of view they will need more guests to make the event pay. With a lack of guests less people will make the effort to go therefore less profit. Maybe the reason they are not announcing is due to the lack of financialy viable guests available. Rather than announcing more and making more people book flights etc they may be at the point of cancelling. It's been done before with other events.

Even an announcement about them making an announcement would help. At the moment it looks more likely that either what is announced is it or the event will be cancelled.

Need to book flights and hotels so am waiting for more guests. Not worth going with the amount that has been announced. Can't hang on for ever though as flights and hotels fill up and get more expensive the later you leave it. Really disappointed with the lack of announcements. If nothing is announced soon have to cancel my plans.

Met him twice before and found him to be VERY big headed. A very unpleasant man. He believes he's a bigger star than Harrison Ford.
