  1. He called me a weirdo. several times. I had three items signed, and got personalisations on all of them. He signed and personalised an sm supplied pic for myself and one for a friend of mine, and wrote 'burn this' in my special edition book of the dead. Then I caused him distress lol. He winced at my book of the dead and said 'never seen one of these before!' so I told him I'd been looking everywhere for something from my favourite film for him to sign but couldn't find anything. He was like uh huh, not really listening, when I said ' So do you have any plans to go back to Purgatory. He stopped, looked at me in horror, and said 'what?' I said 'Purgatory... What happened to Mardulak next?' and he said ' You mean Sundown?? That's your favourite film?' I said yes, and he said ... ' whhhhhhy???' Then we had a good old chat about Sundown The vampire in retreat, he called me a weirdo several times, told me some stories about the set (mainly about one of the leads having problems and hiding in coffins so he could jump out and scare the child actors) and as I was going he announced to the person behind me that I was a weirdo. Saw him outside later, he jumped out of a taxi - guess he'd been for lunch or something - grinned and waved, then pointed at me and told everyone outside that I was weird and to watch out for me. One of my favourite guests ever, LOVED him.
  2. Jeffrey Dean Morgan would also be nice. Did we decide if he's done an event before? I seem to remember a large US one to promote Watchmen... Whoever it is sure I won't be disappointed at the event though :)
  3. And the clue was that they haven't done a con in the US or UK. Not that they've never done a con at all ... :) Mary Mcdonnell did an event in the UK in Feb. Wish it was her - or any BSG guest ... Jamie's autograph is looking rather lonely on my cast pic

  6. *edited as didn't register what the OP was actually asking* we've missed guests before by waiting until queues were quieter, only to find that the guest was so quiet they'd gone home (this was about 15:00 though) we generally get there between 10 and 11, didn't get there till 14:00 on the saturday once though and met the people I wanted to, 11 sghould be fine, just get your VT and go shop Bless my lovely other half- 6 hour round trip so I can meet Jamie Bamber- must be love
  7. Wow, Mads was LOVELY I could have stood chatting to him for ages, he was so interested in what his fans had to say, and made denuine conversation. But Bruce was funny, he acted all shocked when I handed him my 'book of the dead' dvd to sign, as if - gasp, never seen one of these before' jokily, so I explained I wanted to get something Robert Van Helsing but couldn't find anything and he was a bit like . mm hmm , mmm hmm ... woah woah wait .. you mean SUNDOWN????' all aghast. heheh Went on to explain Sundown (The vampire in retreat) is my all time favourite movie (which it is!!) and he said ' seriously????' had a bit of a chat about the movie, and a bit of a joke, and he teased me about being a weirdo for liking it so much Mads did give me the biggest giggle of the day though- was talking to him for a bit about Bond, and it was a pity that Le Chiffre died as I'd have liked to see him again. he replied 'so many people have asked me if i'm in the next bond movie, ummm no, I died' Robert Englund was lovely too. so, erm- that's everyone I met - I can't choose!! I know, Showmasters, I need more time to decide who I liked most, so Please can you bring them all back?
