Thoroughly enjoyable to meet, very understated and humble... it really struck me when he said it was a pleasure to sign the "making of" book for Alien that I'd asked him to sign for my brother. A class act. Thanks Showmasters!

He was absolutely brilliant, after taking a few moments to determine if that was really him, I plucked up the courage to ask if I could get a photograph with him (I must've appeared as a bit of a stalker standing to one side watching). To his absolute credit not only did he agree to a photo once they'd filmed a small segment... but he even asked if I'd be happy answering a few questions on camera about the subject of webcomics!

I shall be there on Saturday as the 7th Doctor, along with my new umbrella build. :) I'll also probably be there with an Ace (Alea), 10th Doctor (Carl), 5th Doctor (Rob) and possibly an Amy Pond (Lisa). If I'm not there, it's possibly because I've had to head off home because my ankle's giving me grief (I badly injured it on the way home from Collectormania Milton Keynes and it's still not fully healed).

Thank you for the information, Queen_Sindel. I believe the change of arrangements with Sophie Aldread may have also messed up my order (as I purchased a photoshoot ticket with Peter Davison at the same time, and it hasn't arrived), and wasn't sure if the print-off method was still used or not.

Wow, I'm honestly surprised at the negativity. Getting one of the current Who cast, and a significant one at that is a major coup. She may have done the HMV signing before, but this is going to be her first convention appearance, and you know, we should try give her as warm a welcome we can... giving her a positive experience will make her more willing to possibly attend more events in the future.

Hmm, Sunday only? I'll need to do some planning transport wise... but aside from that, absolutely amazing news! Especially in addition to the fact that Sophie Aldred is also going to be there. It's for the very reason of a exceptional guest list for this event and years past that I'll always make time for Collectormania Milton Keynes, such incredible selection for an event that's free entry! Guess I'll be going as the 7th Doctor on both days... Ace and the Fifth Doctor, brilliant!

Brilliant! David Warner was already a superb coup and had guaranteed my attendance, this has reinforced it... and I get the chance to have a photo with Sophie, with me sporting my 7th Doctor costume replica.

Showmasters, you rock... three Doctors to boot... You'd excelled yourselves in my books by getting Sylvester... now I'll be able to get autographs from both incarnations of the Doctor for my copy of Doctor Who: The Movie... as well as get my DVD set of The Trial of a Timelord signed. I think I'm in nerd heaven.

Absolutely amazing! You've guaranteed my attendance on Sunday, I was in two minds about whether to visit with Colin being there (as he does a number of the conventions not far from Buckinghamshire, as that's where he lives), but with Sylvester, my favourite Doctor there, that's cemented things. You rock, Showmasters.

Thanks for all the info and help both in regards to my photoshoot session, the ticket of which I left behind on the day (urk!) but was solved, preventing disappointment, and for the info regarding the virual queue time estimates. You guys rocked.
