I was staying at the hotel, although the lady behind reception didn't ask me that, she just said she couldn't find any info on a reduced rate under any Massive Events / Showmasters / Lords of Time name. As it was 1am when I left there was no one else to check with and no crew around to ask. Thank you Queen_Sindel for looking into this :)

Thank you from me for a great weekend - the guests were all fantastic and I really enjoyed their talks, especially David and the always brilliant Tony and the all guests talk! Frazer was also very amusing in his talk :) The new photo printing system worked very well (even when it ate mine and another ladies photos, we just went around again and it was sorted!) and the quality of print was excellent, far better than the initial tests at CMK. I was a little disappointed that the Friday and Sunday night parties ended so early, although it did mean I was a little more alert during the day I guess It was a little tricky trying to get David's auto on the Sunday as the queue was always so long and I didn't want to miss any of my photoshoots! Thank you for putting on the extra session later on so we could all manage this, although I was a little sad to miss the talk from Lachele, Velile and Andrew. I would love to come to Lords of Time 2 but unfortunately I am already busy that weekend - shame! So big thanks again to ME and the crew at LoT!

Hi - had a great time at Lords of Time last weekend, unfortunately it ended badly when the Hilton reception desk refused to give me a reduced con-rate for parking which means I had to pay £45 for 2.5 nights parking! I am assuming this is a mistake on Hilton's part as I have always paid a cheaper rate of parking at Hallowhedon when I mentioned ME or SM at checkout. Please can you advise this was the case as I will be complaining to the Hilton if I was supposed to be paying less for my parking - it raised the cost of the weekend considerably!

As there appear to be con-rate rooms again (thank you for sorting) I have now booked one and bought a silver ticket - don't think I've ever booked quite so last minute for a con but I'm really looking forward to it now! See everyone soon :)

There are other hotels near by as I'm very short on money can't afford Hilton even on con rates I'm staying at Eftap by the aiport there is also a ibis by there. Thanks but I don't like to stay in a different hotel when the con is at the NEC as I don't feel too safe getting back there after the parties. Never mind - not 100% sure I can be there yet anyway - depends on work this week.

I don't know if you are able to get the Hilton to release more rooms at the con-rate or not as that may encourage more people to come? I am considering it but I definitely can't afford to pay normal Hilton room rates and others may well be thinking the same?

I also am a fan of Hugh from his Holby City days!

The carpark was pretty much full to overflowing during the last Hub in April most of the weekend with cars parked all along the exit road as well (and that wasn't a huge con) but I didn't hear of anyone not being able to park over the weekend so hopefully you will be ok.

Marc Alaimo / Casey Biggs / Jeffrey Combs for me - wanted to meet the 3 of them ever since I first watched their DS9 eps and saw how brill they all were in their respective roles! Others too but I'm far more excited about these 3 than any of the captains! :)

I would love it to be someone from Dollhouse, particularly Fran Kranz! I am also always hopeful for Nathan Fillion but I know he is very busy on Castle so this is fairly unlikely.

Got mine today too Why did you hear it's not a good idea? It has occasionally happened that people pretend to be you if they know your name and ticket number and as my full name is my username I don't put my ticket number down just in case! It's very rare and they don't normally get away with it but I'm a cautious person :)

I feel left out now because mine says Hub 8!
