I'd love to see some voice actors, especially: -John Patrick Lowrie (TF2, Half Life) -Ellen McLain (Portal, Half Life) -Will Arnett (Lego Movie, Arrietty) -Robin Atkin Downes (TF2, Regular Show, Earth's Mightiest Heroes)

Might be planning things a little early, but I've made a Facebook group here for arranging a Valve-based meetup at Winter LFCC: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1446220608982125/ I only saw a small handful of TF2 cosplayers at LFCC and I thought arranging a meetup might prompt a few more Valve cosplayers to join in the fun this time around :) (Please note that you're still welcome to attend the meet if you're not a cosplayer!) I'll be attending as a red fem!Sniper (most likely on the Saturday, depending on the guests that get announced) and please add yourself to the FB group if you're interested in joining in. Thanks!

I'm going as a fem!Sniper from TF2 on one of the days, haven't decided which yet...I might try and arrange a Valve meet as I didn't see many Valve cosplayers at LFCC :c

It could be lots of reasons-an interest in film, a desire to see trailers on a screen bigger than a laptop/phone...also there was a hint at exclusive, never before seen trailers which excited film fans. Not everyone comes to the show for autographs :)

Looking for the artist who did art of movie cars
Icena replied to Mehetabel's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2014
Aaaa thank you so much, I saw the Zoolander one (and fell in love) and forgot to take a card! -
I only met two guests and bought a couple of little things so I only spent about £100 the whole weekend~ (Excluding cosplay costs!)

Thanks for clearing this up Jason. I do agree that crowds were perfectly fine on the Sunday (busy but just as busy as previous events) but the crowds on Saturday really were a health and safety issue which is my main fear for future events. Anyway, thanks for explaining a few things and understanding that a lot of people were left disappointed. Personally, I had a good time, and I managed to meet some great guests. If the crowding/queuing on the Saturday could've been fixed, I would've enjoyed this past LFCC as much as I've enjoyed every other SM event.

Numbered Programmes/ Prizes
Icena replied to pretenama2012's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2014
Yeah, the programmes were being given out for free outside EC2 at the end of the day...great for me as I hadn't bought one earlier, but I thought I'd have been a bit miffed had I paid for one earlier. Though I suppose you can argue that the fiver was your entry into the raffle. -
Only met two guests this time: Kristian Nairn and David Wenham. Kristian was absolutely lovely, we had a great long talk about Ireland and he remembered me from Twitter which was awesome. The person in front of me also had a lightsaber and Kristian was poking Finn Jones with it (and nearly decapitated him!) which was great fun, he's always very sweet and easy to talk to. David was just as lovely (I was very surprised that he had an open queue, I managed to get him just after Lunch so I only waited about 10 minutes!) and he winked at me so I think we're getting married.

Yeah, lots of people had written on them...including someone writing "DC sucks" (which I like to imagine Stan wrote haha)...I think they are privately owned though, as there was a guy standing next to them whom I assume was the owner.

I don't feel as if I'll be adding anything too different from what's already been said (so please feel free to lock this, SM) but I just wanted to say to first-timers that the events aren't always as crazy as LFCC was. I've been attending SM events for five years and I keep coming back because I genuinely think that they're one of the best event companies out there. Yes, LFCC was crazy, especially Saturday. I'm claustrophobic and I felt panicky on Saturday, but Friday/Sunday were absolutely fine for me in terms of crowds. All the guests I met were lovely, and all the crew members I talked to were very helpful. Perhaps it's because I wasn't there to see Stan, but I actually managed to get everything I wanted done very easily. Yes it was pretty disorganised (and I was genuinely worried about the crowds in case of a fire) but SM seemed to learn from this and, for example, gave crew radios on the Sunday. I still think e-tickets would really help (people were saying that they like tickets as a "memento" but crew take the whole ticket from you on the door so you don't get to keep it anyway) and there was a lack of communication, but I really think that it was all due to Stan's presence and it won't affect future events. So, first timers who only attended on the Saturday, please don't be discouraged from future events. SM events are usually so much less stress than Saturday was, Winter LFCC should be so much calmer and better organised. I'm not saying that LFCC went perfectly, just that future events should definitely be an improvement on it.

Guillermo Ortego was really lovely so it'd be cool to have him back in the artists' alley :) Oh, and Pedro Pascal pls, obvs.

Retro arcade games section: brilliant
Icena replied to Jumpyghostface's topic in London Film and Comic Con 2014
I loved it! Went today at about 5 and managed to have a go on everything, also got some DJ Hero and N64 Mario Kart in haha. Really liked it, it made for some great photos too :) -
It usually depends on the artist, some say a maximum of 5 if there's a queue behind you etc. I'd say go there when there isn't much of a queue and explain you want a lot of signatures :)

Obviously pretty upset about this considering I had presents and things for him. I'm glad he's working though, and I hope you can get him for a future event -
