Wow thats a pretty comprehensive list, thanks. Don't get me wrong I love chain restaurants, esp Nandos but I can go to all of these near to where I live. I was wondering if there is a brilliant little independent italian or something tucked away somewhere. Maybe I should ask Joseph Long? Failing that it sounds like the hub is the place to head to.

that's the xscape centre I drive pass the stadium daily and the only places to eat there (apart from the stadium) are McDonalds, KFC, Asda, a gym and Ikea. I keep hearing about a pizza hut there but i have never seen one Hmmm I've never been to an Ask but just had a look at their menu and it looks good, a lot like a pizza express.

Its now a long time since the voyager cast were working together, they have all had time to fall out, make up several times over. Plus I would imagine they are all so sick of being asked about the whole Kate/Robert Beltran thing that any questions to that effect will get a pretty negative reaction. Can you imagine if you once fell out with someone you worked with 10yrs ago, and people were still asking you about it now? Of course they don't have to like each other to do a signing event together.

Its obviously quite an acquired taste. I was wondering why the BBC aren't showing it, it seems perfect for TWO or FOUR.

Hi everyone, (Hope its ok to post this. I did try to check first by sending an email to two of the mods but it kept coming up with an error message) My boyfriend and his co host have been nominated for the Rising Star Award for new talent in Radio, at the Sony awards. His name is David Chipman (co host James Lister) they do weird comedy type stuff. Its the only award that is up for public vote. http://risingstar.sony.co.uk/ I'm just trying to help them out because their show is only on a small local fm station and they are up against national and DAB radio shows. There are clips of all the nominees on the site. So if you guys could take a look at the site and maybe.... just maybe vote for them????????

I used to wonder why nothing on Tv was a funny as my life..... then I saw 30 Rock. After I'd picked myself of the floor I ordered the box sets. I love it! I think the writing is brilliant and intelligent and the acting is great from pretty much the whole cast. Anyone else like it ? or not?

Wow what a relief, I'm glad I kept the faith through the last few series. I'm so impressed! I loved David Tennant but Matt Smith is great too and everything else is sooooo much better. My pet hate was the last logo, the new logo is much better. My one complaint is still that some really good complicated sci-fi plots are being covered in one episode without filling in the background details. Only seen the first two episodes but they both could have been stretched out to at least two episodes. For example... england is on its own space ship.... scotland wanted its own ship. Wouldn't it have been great to see the other ships for all the other countries. What would they all have looked like? Wouldn't it have been better to have stretched the whole Liz 10 surprise over more than one episode? It seems such a shame to have such great stories crammed into one episode.

The jokes in this thread made me laugh so much, thanks guys. I know there are much more important reasons to hope this all gets sorted out soon... but I will be gutted if the American actors don't make it to CM16!!! But this thread went some way to cheering me up. Somone needs to invent teleportation in time. Do you think Kate Mulgrew to volunteer for the first trial run? (I know, but someone had to go for the obvious )

Yeah, I saw the talk Dean and Marshall did at the last Manchester show. They were great, and much better looking in real life! I would love to meet them again, the new series is brilliant.
