I've met her...*counts*...*runs out of fingers*...a lot. She's actually become a very dear friend over the years - all the more reason why I want to see her again! :)

She isn't able to make the 50th anniversary Star Trek event in October, but it'd be a crime not to have her do a UK event at all during the 50th. At events in other countries she does so many things other than just sign autographs; sing, play games, and best of all give panels and workshops on her anti-bullying program (http://www.popculturehero.org). As a huge fan of her it'd so wonderful to see all that represented at a show in the UK, so...please? She's an incredible lady with so many wonderful projects on the go - let her bring all that this side of the pond!

They've both been great every time I've seen them. We had the DS9 group photo a couple of years ago, but would still really like this one!

Every time these two appear at a UK event I beg and beg the organisers for a joint photoshoot, but it never happens. Please could this time be the time?

She's lovely, one of my favourites. This was the 7th event I've seen her at, and she's one of the very nicest guests ever.

Nana Visitor. Otherwise this is going to be the first year since 2010 that I've not seen her, and I don't want that.

Terry Farrell was indeed lovely, and I finally got round to making up for a bad pic I had taken with her back in 2009 by getting a super-duper huggy one. Also, Paul McGann is a really nice chap. For absolutely faves; well, I spent a lot of time at the Big Finish table on Sunday so my joint-faves are the awesome tag team of Chase Masterson and Lisa Bowerman. Just so lovely!

Surprised that there was actually a e-cig company with a stand in the dealers area. Seemed a very odd thing to have...

I hope Jason remembers that when he's on here later deleting threads all over the place, accusing people of stirring up trouble when all they're doing is posting legitimate concerns and criticisms, and saying "well basically everyone had an amazing time and the next one will be even better c you there" and ignoring all the many significant problems that this weekend has highlighted to many many of his paying customers.

Still waiting. Two and a half months later and this still hasn't been sorted - really?

I'm starting to sound like a stuck record when it comes to fave guests, and this event did nothing to change that fact. As nice as everyone else can be, there are two people who have always been consistently a cut above the rest for me, and one of them is Nana Visitor. She was the highlight of my very first convention (LFACC 07) and she remains one of the sweetest loveliest people you could ever hope to meet. Pretty sure she was the first person I saw on Saturday morning, and she clearly remembered me from DSTL. Not by name, but it was so lovely to see that flash of recognition in her eyes and hear a "Hello *you*!"; a brilliant start to the weekend. Every time I went past her signing area she was constantly smiling and being friendly and welcoming to everyone who went up to see her, which was lovely to see. There are certain other guests who could learn a lot from the way Nana treats people. Actually it was my birthday on Saturday, and while I didn't mention that to too many guests (kept forgetting to, actually) I figured if anyone was worth telling it was Nana. She smiled one of those enormous and totally genuine smiles of hers and wished me a very happy birthday, before signing a photo with a similar message. When I went back the next day to get my DS9 script signed, she was just as friendly and happy to see me as she had been the day before, and we chatted a little about the episode and how much we both liked it. As silly as it sounds the one and only thing I really wanted on my birthday was a Nana hug, and she very kindly obliged me with one at the photoshoot. Not only that, but I got two more hugs on Sunday; one at her photoshoot, and one more at the end of the day when I went over to say how nice it had been to see her again. Actually, of the six Nana hugs I've had now, that last one was the nicest and most huggiest of them all - it was a really special moment for me. She even made me promise that I'd come back and see her next time she's in the UK, although I would have done that anyway. Like I said, she always has been and always will be one of the absolute best guests of all time. Really hope she's invited back soon.

The guy who was dressed up as Dr Clayton Forrester deserves a knighthood.
