  1. I just wondered some people got so many

So do you just get people you really like? or just everyone because they are there?

I only got Alex, Joel and Mark because they were the only people I really really liked and I didn't have a lot of money. I only planned to actually get Alex but then I had to get the other two and I am glad I did, they were lovely.

I also got a Darth Vader one for my uncle.

And I only got Alex's photo

  2. I thought I would just need to meet Alex once but now I need to meet her again, more and more ;)

Totally agree with you on this! I wish I'd have got my photoshoot picture signed by her! They HAVE to bring her back :P

Btw, I was looking for the first people in line for her shoot, to see if I could hazard a guess as to who you were, but I failed......between that and being no. 129, I had no chance ;)

I think other than a couple of crew members I might have been first in her photo queue, certainly near the front anyway, not that you'd know who I was. I was first in line for one of my photoshoots but honestly I can't recall which one it was. Maybe it was Chris Lambert actually but I was normally one of the first few in for most of them.

Ahhhhh, the advantages of a gold pass

After seeing them put to use at the show this weekend, I'm gonna pick me one up for the next show, for sure!

I was pretty near the front.

I was about the 20th person in I think. I do not like to post my pictures of facebook sadly. I did add you on MSN though, you never showed up online, lol

I've been having problems with MSN, as it won't seem to update on my PC!! I keep trying, but the same stupid freeze keeps occuring!

As soon as I get it up 'n' running, I'll be sure to talk to you lots and lots and even more lots about your Alex Kingston experience :D

Cool as there is not a PM thing on here it is hard to talk otherwise!

  3. I only met a handful of guests for autos, but had loadssss of photoshoots!

Have to say, that I adore Shawnee Smith, she was so nice and pleasant , it really lived up to my expectations and then some. She remembered me in the photoshoot too, and greeted me with a very enthusiastic hello, it was wonderful!!

Answered the questions I had, and thanked me for some of my comments, asked her if she preferred doing Saw or The Blob, she couldn't decide, because she liked them both for different reasons :)

I regret not getting my photoshoot pic signed by Alex Kingston, because it was a keeper! Hopefully Showmasters will bring her back in the future at some point, I sure hope so. I only had a few seconds with her at the photoshoot, but she greeted me warmly, and when I said "Can I have a hug pleeeeease?", made the please sound really sweet when I said it lol, she just grabbed hold of me, and we hugged tight! She also made an effort to thank me afterwards, even though the pleasure was all mine! Great experience, please bring her back in the future, I'd love to get a siggy :P

Michael Bailey Smith was cool, but as with any first guest I meet at a show, I found it hard to make much conversation, I was warming up at that point, but I still managed to get a good meet with him.

I know that some have said that Tom Sizemore was rude, but when I met him he stopped talking to his guest assistant and vice versa, and both parties acknowledged me very quickly, which was awesome! Many thanks to whoever his assistant was on the Sunday! Anyway, he immediately struck up a conversation with me about Charlie Sheen (I had my Charlie Sheen "winning" t-shirt on) gave real insight to me and talked very openly with me, which was much appreciated, he was a legend! Said how much I enjoyed his performances in GTA: Vice City and Lock Up for which he thanked me, we shook hands, and away I went, happy as Larry (well Mattzo!!! actually :P )

All in all, a great day! I loved most aspects of it, but next time, I need to have more fun and mingle!

So you love my women, eh? ;O

She was such a sweetheart :P

However, my love for her is out of respect and general fanboyism, you need not worry :P

She was soooooooo lovely :D it is not often your idol's live up to what you expect, but she totally did :P

What do you reckon the chances of her coming back in the future are? :P

Lots, cause I am gonna write her 10000000000 letters till she does :P

  7. I went with the sole want to meet Alex which I did. It was by far the best day of my life.

The crew lady with her was lovely and very thoughtful, pointing out things on my picture when I lost the use of speaking!

I also met Joel and Matt would were both again lovely <3

I liked the stalls, esp the ones with Japanese things on

I liked the people walking around, like the Darth Vader :D

I thought the lining up was done with ease and I didn't feel so freaked out about that.

    :D

  8. Here are a couple of 'different' quotes i got at this event:

Richard Hatch - 'Hey Tony, You got thumbed by The Hatch!'

Joel Gretsch - 'All my best, See you at ****** ***' (Sorry can't mention the actual words on here!!)

Mark Shepperd - 'Romo Day' (He wrote that on his actual birthday in my BSG Calendar)

Is Joel doing another Event? I know you are not allowed to say like what he is doing but I would love to meet him again :D

  9. I do agree but I think it is a little unfair to paint everyone who had a problem with the same brush.

Most of the crew were lovely I had an issue that when I asked about Alex Kingston the girl went off and talked to another crew member about her personal life, I went over to them. They blanked me for about 10 minutes before another lovely Crew member answered my question. Sometimes it felt like they were better then us in some aspects that is what upset me.

But most of them were lovely and I was there for Alex and I had a wonderful time with that so the way the crew acted didn't really mess my weekend up but I just felt it was a little rude.

  10. I have wanted to meet Alex Kingston for soooooooo long!

And today I got the chance and she was soooo lovely, I got a hug and she spent time to look at a drawing I had made to be signed, commenting on it :) Lovely lady.

The girl who was with her, the crew girl was also lovely and pointed out bits of the drawing saying she really liked it.

I did not feel like just another number, I felt like she actually give me time.

She also said my name right :crying:

I met a few star wars people who were happy to pose for photos for my uncle (he was not there but he is a big fan)

And Joel and Matt were lovely, both talking time to talk to me even though I am very shy.

Joel told me I had a pretty name and wrote it on my auto, which I thought was lovely.

I have a few downers though, I felt some of the crew members were very rude. I asked one girl what was happening with Alex as she was running late and she went to talk to another crew member, they began to talk about their personal lives, (which is fine) but I was stood waiting to know what was going on for ten minutes! In the end another, nice man told me.

It seemed like on a lot of the signings the person giving out the photos inches from the singer didn't know if they would allow photos or not, I was told by one girl Joel allowed it to be then told by the person next to him it was not allowed. But he was so lovely I didn't mind.

But I think for future notes the crew members could be a little nicer maybe, not all of them. But there were a fair few.

But all of that is so little to me as this day was the best day of my life :help:

Thank you so much to the lovely crew members who helped me and to showmasters :smile:<_<

I get the feeling you enjoyed yourself today? :P

I did. I was worried she would not live up to what I expected. That can sometimes happen and it is i horrible. But she did and it was so nice, I didn't ask about the kiss but I did get a hug which is a big thing for me, lol

  11. I didn't see her at MK but I had heard what people said. I witnessed none of that, I expected it would be very rushed and I would have to fight to get what I wanted in the end she very much led the chat we have as I got her to sign my picture and was more then happy to hug :D

And she is soooooo beautiful! Sadly I missed her chat I had to get home but meeting her was the highlight of my life :D:wub:

  12. There was no sign above Mark Sheppard so I asked him for a quick photo and he said he was sorry but couldn't as SM told him he had a photo shoot. Also confirmed by the woman next to him. He was open q as well.

I got the same response, he told me the women next to him would go nuts if he let me.

I asked for a hug but he told me to do it quickly because again she would go nuts with him.

    It seemed a little odd.

  13. SM do try to encourage guests to allow photos over the table. It is down to the guest and their agent whether or not they are allowed. The only time SM stop photos are if the guest is insanely popular eg Karen Gillan or some other form of time constraint

I do understand this but with Joel it seemed he was willing and the crew member reminded he couldn't.

  15. Alex Kingston. I've waited years to meet here, I'm somewhat shy but I got a hug! Plus she took time to look at the photo I'd drawn of Daleks with River Song banners, commenting it was very good not only putting my name but also spoilers!

All the star wars people <3

Joel and Mark were lovely and commented on my name, saying it was pretty <3
