I spoke to a lady at the Richo stadium who wnet away and checked and said that as a crew member if we saw someone from SM on the day(s) of the event we would be able to get a pass allowing us to have free parking at the stadium. Can anyone confirm this at HQ as I am seeing on here that there is a charge of £3 being mentioned. thanks in advance it would be good to know so i can :- 1/ take change if i have to 2/be able to offer other crew members a ride to and from the event.. thanks again

On AA routemaster the centre is 7 mins away, I called the taxi firm and they quoted about £10 per cab, b ut they have got 8 seaters and was quoted £11 for these, have asked if let them know on the friday night how many 8 seaters we need and confirm price,then they will have them at the hotel for 7.15am, so should be about £3.00 per day for cabs hope this helps. Mary The hotel is marginally closer to the Ricoh than the Ricoh is to the centre of Coventry, but it's the length of the Bedworth bypass away. This is a fast dual carriageway, and not safely walkable. Nuneaton is to the North, then Bedworth then the Ricoh, and then Coventry to the south. There are chain restaurants, pub, cinema, and ten-pin bowl on the same estate as the hotel. so once back there, there's enough to keep people amused. Neither Nuneaton nor Bedworth are thrilling places to visit for the evening. The taxi firm comments above sound about right - for the Bermuda I'd advise using taxi firms based in Bedworth or Nuneaton, rather than Coventry, as it's all outside the city boundary, and Coventry fares go up to go out there. Thanks Nick, seems we dont have to go far for entertainment, that is if we have enough energy, If you are arriving by train, you can grab another train from Coventry to Nuneaton costs £3.90 single, and then a cab from Nuneaton station (02476 381 115) about £5.00-£5.50, if arriving by coach at Cannon Park, then add on a further £7.00 to Coventry station I am going to have my car with me I am travelling up on the Sat Early AM and I am working All day sat and sun... Another question to through into the mix :- Is there free parking on site for crew? or will I have to pay and if so how much? I have tried to contact Richo via email to find out if there is a cost as of yet no one has got back to me.... So I will be able to offer a journey back to the hotel on Sat eve for a few and also Sunday... ) Thanks Ben aka Twix
