  1. You know you're addicted to Supernatural when.... you start calling everyone 'dude'.
  2. It would be nice to think we could get the boys, but don't really believe it is possible. Unless they happen to have a break from filming, it does seem unlikely. I know they do do cons in America during filming times, but that's because they can fly in for a day and then fly off straight away. It's a lot harder to get them over here unless they've finished filming, because it obviously takes a lot longer for them to travel here and back. But I suppose I'll just keep fingers crossed, but not get my hopes up.
  3. So in theory there is at least one more guest to announce (although hopefully 3!) Thanks
  4. So generally it won't be over 800? That's not too bad. Another question, regarding numbers of a different sort, how many guests in general do ME aim to get for us to meet? Looking at other events, I'm thinking it's between 4 and 6?
  5. True things do get insane when they're there, but if the organisation is better when they are there, things are a lot better.
  6. Mark is intimidating, esp after seeing a stage talk! But he does give great hugs..... *sighs*
  7. Oh don't get me wrong, I've had fabulous encounters with many guests, most of which are far more memorable than meeting the J's - but I put that down to the pressure put on the boys. The 'smaller' guest stars have more time to give fans, so they tend to make every fan feel as though they've had something special and personal. I love that often it's the guest stars who steal the show re: cons, however, I would still rather meet Jared or Jensen over everyone. No matter how many times I've met them, I still want more!
  8. How cool would it be to have him and Mark at the same con!
  9. Oh I had a great moment with him at the photo op at Collectormania (he gave me a highfive after remember the word I challenged him to remember when I met him a few weeks earlier), and I'd never tire of seeing him either. Would still take Jensen instead though .
  10. I've been working on a Rob picture, and decided to use the pictures I took myself when I saw Louden Swain in America , one down...
  11. I've never seen him in Dexter, but I did start watching Lost again just to see him in it. He is rather brilliant.
  12. Thanks for that. I like the idea of a smaller con, it can get quite manic if there are a lot of people. I know there are the people out there to go to these cons, it's just a case of how many of them are going to go to the first one run by 'newbie' - not a con newbie obviously, but a newbie SN one! ETA When was Eclipse run? Was it right in the midst of the biggest Heroes fandom time? I just wonder because this isn't the first SN con being run in this country...
  13. I was just wondering how many tickets generally get sold for ME events? I realise that you have to ignore the Twilight events, cos I'm imagining no other events sell anywhere near what they do. But what's the average number of tickets sold for a weekend con, and more specifically, what is the number expected for a new event? I've only ever been to Supernatural cons, and every single one has been over 700 attendees, I'm assuming this one is likely to be smaller? And personally I'm looking forward to possibly being at a con that's not quite so crowded . Does that question make sense?
  14. He could be good, he did freak me out in Good God Y'all though!
  15. YAY a guest announcement! And it's someone I've never met as well, extrememly excited about this, thanks so much!!!!!!!!
  16. Todd is a great guest, but I have a thing about people only being in one episode, I would much rather have a guest who has been in at least 2... Saying that, Todd is a very funny guy, and could talk for Britain about all sorts of stuff and not just Supernatural.
  17. Last time I stayed there, we checked in a bit later, and they ran out of standard rooms, so we were upgraded to an executive for free. Think it was a one time only deal though, wouldn't expect it to happen again.
  18. Thanks , I had a different one the last time I met Richard, and it was full of screencaps from 'Changing Channels' . I have made 1 or 2 for a friend when she couldn't decide on something to get signed
  19. Ta, as I said, as soon as I get my hands on another copy of PSP I can begin trying to think of new pictures, trouble comes when you have to rely on not great quality screen cas cos there are no good promo shots areound for some people.
  20. OK, here are the ones I have on this computer... Of course, I currently don't have psp on my laptop, so trying to design one at the moment is a bit impossible.... oh well, I'm sure I can sort something.
  21. OK cool, great thanks! Much rather have something original than a standard picture! Only had good comments about the pics I do so far .
  22. Having never been to a ME con before, I was wondering what the rules were regarding getting things signed. I know some events only let you get DVD's, official magazines etc signed, or photos that they sell you themselves. Elsewhere, you can get whatever you want signed (within good taste obviously). I usually like to design my own 10x8 pictures on the computer, and was wondering if this was something that was allowed to be signed?

    New Guest

Problem is, I'm just really impatient, I like to know these things in advance! Knowing my luck, you'll announce a load of guests while I'm on hols in Egypt
