That just made me chuckle out loud!

Im going to give my negatives first - there are only two things that I would have changed - 1) as a gold ticket, the meet and greet was pants.I have sciatica so had to go sit down as i cant stand up that long - this meant that I didnt really get to 'meet or greet' as i was sat behind where the guest was standing. I would also like to point out that the standing format is all good and well when space is limited, but personally, i dont feel that it was fair to the children, wheel chair users , pregnant ladies or people like myself who cant stand for that long in that type of environment - it wasn't worth the money! The noise level also made it difficult to hear what was being said and the guests commented on this too. That said, Too Tall has already addressed this issue, so thank you for that - I hope that the Radison will provide a better setting 2) Many people have comment on how great the DJ was and about how he played everyones request = WRONG!!!!! I requested songs every night that never got played. I new that some of them were a long shot but even on halloween i though marilyn mansons beautiful people would have been allowed and i dont think Fall Out Boy would have been remotely heavy for the crowd! It really seemed that he didn't want to play much alternative music (but i am thankful for the handful that i did get) and when many of my friends verbally asked for songs they got the response that he cant play metal - Why not? Not even 1 song?. I appreciate that its a big crowd to play for but surely he could diversify the music a bit more (and not to be too judgemental but from most of the people i met at the con, we are all pretty 'alternative' in one way or another and i think this could be embraced more in the music style) Also....... I loved Lady Gaga before the con but she was played to death every night - so please, next year, mix it up a little!! With the negatives over i would just like to comment on how friendly the stewards were - I found them all to be really helpful and chatty. I also found the staff at the thistle to be very helpful and they even gave us a bit of banter when we were in our cotumes which i liked - much better stay than last year (although I only bought one drink from the bar so I cant comment on that side of the staff). The guest were fab and the days were really well organised.... i think there are always little improvements that can be made with things like the quiz and guest talks but these issues have already been addressed by other posters Overall I had a jolly good time and im now waiting for the poast con blues to kick in!

If you get anyone can I borrow them too as i also will be trying out false eyelashes and along withe contacts, I am at real risk of taking an eye out!

I don't blame you for buying bits for your costume already, I have had mine sorted for a while now. Is it sad that I have spendt most of my lunch breaks at work planning it and day dreaming about being at Hallowhedon? anyway, I dont want to take this thread off topic so..... Another Hampshire lass - yay! I'm down the road in Basingstoke! And i'm a bit further down the road in Waterlooville (just out side Portsmouth, and I work up in Alton). Hampshire's a good place to be!

Im G42 and Corinne Brown is ST14..... Im hoping to have the letter waiting for me when I get home! I would just like to take this moment to say that having access to this forum while i am at work makes my day SO much better and although I dont know may of you, im really looking forward to hanging out with you all at Hallowhedon! Think I might have to do the same as I don't want to end up dragging my mom along (as she's the only one in my house who knows where the White Horse is) Im heading up on my own on the friday and not sure what time my friends are getting there so if you want someone to walk there with, i'll be around (Although the pub is really easy to find too).

I like the idea of a PJ party on the sunday night but was thinking we could make it more like a 'inactive dolls' party as their outfits are very much like my PJ's?

Fran would be the icing on the cake for me! Met him a few months ago and he is soooooooo lovely! Very very much like Topher in his mannerisms and very friendly (He has even been chatting to a friend of mine on facebook! Im so jealous!). Anyway, the line up is looking fab and I cant wait for October!!
