  1. Always a bummer to lose a guest, but I know how hard Massive Events works and the weekend will be great no matter what.
  2. Just read some of the post complaining about what ME has arranged for us, and I can't believe it. Be thankful, people. They don't have to alter the original package, but they always want to give us the best experience we can have. I think it is awesome to have the extras and am glad that ME cares about the attendees so much. Complainers need to understand that ME can't take each individual case, they have given an option that is best for most people. Personally, I'm thankful for the extras and can't wait for Friday!!!
  3. *** Awesome. As always, ME has gone out of its way to take care of us. I can't wait for this weekend!!!!!
  4. Just a thought, but since the next book True Blood comes out in a couple of months it might be worth seeing if some local book shops would hand out flyers with book purchases or as least display a flyer by the Charlaine Harris section. We went in to Waterstone's in Northampton last year during the event and they didn't know why they were selling more of the Sookie Stackhouse series than normal. We explained about the convention and they said they wished they had known ahead of time. They might be willing to help, you never know.
  5. Hey group E! I am Becky, s28. Really looking forward to another great Twilight convention. Can't wait to meet you all.
  6. OKAY-- for all of us who have been told it is sold out, IT IS NOT SOLD OUT. I called again after being told twice that it was sold out and got a guy name Scott (the only person who actually knows what is going on) and he said they have 15 rooms left. I booked two, which means as of this moment there should be 13 rooms available. The Ibis was kind enough to canx my rooms an no charge so I could rebook at the Park Inn. **if you get told they are sold out, ask for Scott.
  7. so totally bummed-- we called a couple months ago to book and were told they are totally sold out, so we booked elsewhere. I spoke to a massive events staff last night and was told they still have rooms, but when I rang again today they told me they are sold out again. I would love to stay there, but there is clearly some confusion.

  11. HI guys- I have a room booked at the Hilton for Friday and Saturday night and am looking for a roommate. I booked under the Twilight Freesale, so breakfast is included and I have a twin room. The cost was just under £75 per night, so if you were looking to share both nights you would be looking at £75. Let me know if anyone is interested. You can email me at bengregory_rocks@hotmail.com Becky Gregory
  12. I have been to 3 of the ET's but always find going solo a little scary. I would totally be up for meeting up on friday. keep us posted.

  14. I love the character of Alcide and Joe seems to fit the character well. I look forward to season 3 and would be very pleased and probably a little weak in the knees if he made it to Bitten
  15. You might want to do flyers for the Waterstone stores- that is how my friends and I found out about the first ET. The Waterstone's in MK had New Moon party's and they sold out, so might be an idea. I will do what I can to spread the word.
  16. yeah!!! This just made this an amazing day. The wolves are awesome in the movie. So excited.
  17. i heart the big bang theory. bring us sheldon!! Glad to see it is growing support in the UK. it is a brillant show with a great cast.
  18. hey guys- does anyone know when they are going to announce more guests? I can't wait. I am thinking they may do it Friday with the release of New Moon.
  19. 1. Taylor- I am team Jacob all the way, both in the books and movie. he is such a huge importance to the story it would be great to have him at ET3. 2. Alex- he is hot.
  20. Jackson would be great, but I would say my first choice is Elizabeth. I love the character of Esme and Elizabeth is a great actress. I loved her on Grey's anatomy.
  21. Eric would be a highlight. For those of you who don't get it- read the books and then you will get ERIC!!!! It doesn't get much better.
  22. This theme is awesome. I will have to do some shopping. I think you should do a Merlotte's country cowboy party too. Just an idea...
  23. YEAH!!! Pam is a great character so I am super excited. Any chance we will get to meet her maker?
  24. I love both. I think they cast the show well and the character match my thoughts of them. I loved book four and can't wait for the show to get to later seasons. The only hard thing is waiting for the show to catch up with the books and knowing what happens to the characters.
  25. I would love to see Anna, Nelson and Alexander...but I will be happy with any of them.
