  1. Great photos! Damn, I wish I’d had a Captain’s chair photo shoot!
  2. My wife and I got a fit bump too. In fact my wife got more of a fist bump/grind!
  3. I’ve met Jenna and she was lovely, posed for a selfie and signed an autograph between filming her final season on Who. If she was out of sorts on the weekend and it was because of some jerk who’s mistreated her then that’s completely justified...
  4. Anyone who calls someone out for a disability because they “can’t see” one is an ignoramus. Sure there are probably people “playing the system”, just as there are some claiming benefits unjustly but nobody has any right to go around making accusations or casting aspersions on peoples’ characters and ruining their LFCC... instant permanent bans from any future cons for them imo...
  5. I actually found seating more available than usual this year, especially outside the cafe area in line with William Shatner’s queue...
  6. How was the talk? What was discussed? Would’ve love to have gone!
  7. I had a great time this year on Saturday - my only grumble? They say “if you need help ask a red shirt”, so I asked the ultimate red shirt yesterday -Jason, who didn’t have a clue as he ran off leaving me stranded...
  8. I’m not sure I understand -so if there are two of you having a photo you need a token each? Or is it only for one person having multiple photos? Thanks in advance!
  9. I couldn’t get near the stalls yesterday, ah well saved some money!
  10. Yes very much so. Just found out he’s now 88 years old! Wow I can only hope I’m in such fine fettle if I reach his age!
  11. I asked him to write “Don’t touch my coffin!”, a line from the film :)
  12. A big shout out for Mr Shatner, who made time to speak to everyone at the autograph table and photoshoots -the very opposite of his reputation as a machine speed signer with little interaction. He had everyone at the signing table in stitches asking my wife and I about how long we’d been together and with his comments about my lack of wedding ring (I said it didn’t fit because I’d put too much weight on and he replied, he knew all about that!) He remembered us at the photoshoot and continued where he left off! A brilliant happy guest encounter, one of the best! I’d love to hear everyone else’s stories about the great man!
  13. Top guy! Really down to earth and had time for everyone!
  14. Well, I started this topic off so it would be remiss not to comment after my con attendance today. The temperature today was ok in the venue, helps that the weather has gotten a bit milder but certain parts of the venue were definitely benefiting from the air con, thankfully the photo shoot areas F, G and H were I was. All in all a vast improvement on the last few years I’ve been.
  15. Really happy with my photos this year. My thanks to the photographers. I was especially worried in Shatner’s morning shoot as it was so dark but it came out lovely! Thank you!!
  16. Thanks Raylenth -I went with a regular but wider tipped sharpie after. I can’t tell you the number of nightmares I had before the con about the pen bleeding outward from the signature - aarrghhhh!
  17. Met Franco, nice guy, a bit subdued but strikes me he’s a con novice so probably a bit daunted by the crowds. Had a laugh at my dedication and the print looks superb, love it when a guest takes time and care over their autograph signing.
  18. It looks fine to me Raylenth, don’t worry - could’ve been a lot worse. My replica Star Trek shirt for William Shatner was a worry going into this con (never had fabric signed before) but other than the “W” not being a complete loop though it’s come out fine. These little mishaps just add to the personal experience too imo.
  19. That is awesome- sooo tempted for tomorrow!!!
  20. At the signing desk or in the photo area, let’s see what you got please!
