Yunalesca: Thank you for your kind words, a couple of the crew alerted me to this post and I am so glad you had a good time at Chevron. The whole crew at Massive Events do their upmost to make sure that the attendees are having a good time and to make it as enjoyable as possible. I am just happy to be a part of a great team. Misadites: MIsa! I am so glad you got you autograph as well! It was the one with all the guests having signed it correct and I had to check whether or not there was a smudge on it, right? 16. No they are not, at least i believe not:) This aprearence was Sir Derek's first experience of a large signing event and David was the one who arranged it with SM. All in all I believe he had a great time was very complimentary and really did not know what to expect. All day he had a steady flow but was never really crowded which I think was a bonus;)
  17. This picture was awesome - I remember you coming up - and both Sir Derek and David (his agent at this show) were gobsmacked at the art - as was I! I had to take a piccy on my Phone! Yep I was the crew member next to Sir Derek. as said in another thread the man is a legend and incredibly engaging and humble... to quote another attendee! Pooks

  19. Hear hear!:) And I am the crew member who was lucky enough to assist him...the most modest and gracious guest ever!
  20. You were a legend - we could not not offer, Your patience infinite! Pooks - The Pit Boss who finally managed to get you to accept the chair;)
  21. The photographer above was Giles Golding and he will be made up by the comments you have made about his work and your experience (he will also probably come on here later and say so himself!) Glad you had fun in the photoshoot!
  22. Although this is not completely out of the question, and I know ME are looking at prehaps selling the jpegs. I have to remind people that the copyright (and therefore the jpegs) of any photo taken by a professional photographer remains their property. And if you go by the letter of the law you should be paying the ME photographers royalties if you reproduce them in anyway, including scanning. It's no different to copying a DVD or CD, people do it all of the time, but it is illegal. Anyone that's had a professional photographer at their wedding can tell you this. You can pay £600+ just for them to be there, then maybe another £400+ to have a number of the photos printed. But the photographer ALWAYS keeps the copyright and therefore if your family members want a copy of that lovely picture of you in your wedding gown they HAVE to get it from the photographer and something like an 8x10 will cost you £25. Some photographers do sell the copyright to the photos but that can get into the £4000+ area. Well said Too Tall xxxxxxxx
  23. Yep this is called ringfencing - some hotels do this to ensure you pay your bills and do not do a runner - and yes it always seems to be with debit cards. But you can refuse to allow them to pre authourise. The Hilton in Birmingham tried to do this too me once and I just said no and that I would pay as I went. It is to encourage you to spend on the room as well. Glad you got in touch with the hotel and they have said they will help. best K
  24. Thank you for this - Pleased you like this! We want to keep doing this so please spread the word and keep coming back! best Pooks!
  25. Can assure you they were not abandoned. They were there so that when people came up to me ( queue lady on A queue Sun) wanting to know where to get slips I could tell them to pick one up fill it out and take it to reg desk. I did have alot of queries. I think there also were ones at the reg desk and there would have definately been some behind the photo distribution area itself:) K
