  1. Hoping for more guests. Love the fact that i live only a ten minute walk from here but willl be no use if theres not one person i want to see . Hoping for aBuffy guest again like last year. Then i will come? Or even get Noah Wyle back since he cancelled London!!!!
  2. I had two Sunday tickets that werent needed. I did look around to see if i could see anyon needing them as i would have given them for free!
  3. Neve Campbell Bill Paxton Scream and Neve Campbell Neve Campbell Scream mask autographed Thing i bought over the weekend! Buffy the Vampire Slayer copper book Mulder and Scully pops New Jurassic Park and case (bought for the casing) Goonies map Yes i did take the balloon dinosaur home, well ish!
  4. Since people are saying things about tickets im just gonna say what i assumed each ticket did. Diamond Pass - This gets you everything in said pass and you to go in the first lot for that person. So for example its an MJF DP you get to go firs for everything the DP entitles you to. Gold Pass - Allows to you go ahead in any auto queue without the need of a VQ ticket unless the guest is a DP then which case you would go after Dp's as they have already paid in full for those and rightly should be allowed to get it first. Standard get VQ and have to wait. What i don't understand is why someone with a MJF DP would get to go agead in all autos and photos. I was in the NEVE Campbell photo quee but why were DP getting called first, surley NEVE had nothing to do with DP's. A assumed a DP was quest specific which it surely is not!?
  5. i am sorry i was there no one was manhadling anyone all they did was have there had behind you and moved it to tall you when it was your time to move forward , the shoot was a long distance from the photographer and it was hard to her the photographer say next like in other shoots , i know it might have seemed odd but it was just a way to let the person know you are good to move forward , hundreds of people went through this shoot i was there over seeing it and directing people just out from he shoot and i only saw happy people that did not feel in any way violated , i do think you are over reacting on this on one is there to upset or push or do something wrong with anyone , we just wanted it to go right for everyone and that has to included MJF who had an amassing time and loved being apart of the event even though he found it very hard work and took a lot out of him , but he would not have changed it for the world as he did really enjoy meeting so many people that had so much love and energy , and he told that to me himself. Jason You cannot tell people they're over-reacting about how being touched/shoved/treated by crew members, you can't dictate their experience. You've been doing this for years, as you keep saying, so you must be aware that touching people can lead to adverse problems, such as panic attacks, falling over etc. please address this problem professionally. No one questioned whether MJF was happy with the event, that's an unnecessary addition to your reply. Alice i think you seem to be looking for a argument ? i am not i a, telling you the truth and thats all , for the shoots where the photographer is a long way from the person going next a tap on the shoulder or a light touch on the back is not unusual also can i point out that EVERY person will have seen this happen to the person infant of them so EVERYONE will know what to expect. How else are we to be affective and efficient in letting you know you are ready to go, these please are noisy and if the camera is set up a bit a way the photographer cannot shout all day or make it work properly , there is a big difference between a list tap or light contact then a shove and no one shuved anyone i was there. now lets not make this into something it was not that is a wast of everyones time , i am on here talking to you all so you get the answers you need and so you understand a little more about what and why things happened and what we plan to do in the future , we do this because we care and we care that you get what you want , constructive criticism is great intel is also great arguing and trying to make something into something is was not is not helpful or good for anyone so lets move on. Jason I work for another convention company and my usual job there is to stand and get people in to the photo shoot in a timely manner. I also put my hand on people's back or shoulder guide them in. Yes people are correct when they a saying they didn't move because the other person was still there. When it goes as fast as what this needs to and we generally get 400 people through in under an hour. People need that extra shove. Trust me if they didn't the other person would stand talking and putting the other person in gets the other one to move on. Sorry but it's how it is and I do these conventions five times a year. I have never had one person complain because I has 'touch' then Also only one thing for me is in the photos the photographer didn't look at any photo they took. Mine wasn't how I though it would be but I left as it was busy. Fortunately my brother is a paint shop pro genius. At the conventions I work for the photographer looks at every photo and if its wrong they delete it and take another straight away. Don't exactly know how that works with printing straight away though.
  6. I know another organuser whom I volunteer for and they offer digital copies and also charge £5!
  7. Don't shoot me for this haha. But in the photos when you were looking for the cameraman. Couldn't you see where he was while waiting in the queue so when you went in you knew where he was? I was in the particular mjf Delorean shoot but I can't imagine you couldn't let see it.
  8. Any Buffy guests at all would be awesome. Even just one like Anthony last year. I have a new book to get signed by Buffy and angel guests!!!!
  9. It nice to see someone like me. Happy about their time there. I waz there all weekend and I personally didn't have many doors and autos but my friend did. No problems with layout or staff. Who were all extremely helpful and talkative. My one wish was that I'd taken my big stuffed cow in to my Bill photo shoot, it ebra moo'd too haha
  10. I would never in a million years. Brinh a child probably under five to these things. To many people and too hot. I would say as above you can't compare a wheelchair and a pram. The person in the wheelchair more than likely gas given the option to come and those kids get pulled along. If it's a newborn baby which I dud see a few off I would have seriously left them with grandparents or partner and if that wasn't possible I'd not come. The liklihood of the. Knowing they would give birth was there and it shouldn't have been a surprise. Felt sorry for them and the one helper dog I saw. That dog did not look happy at all.
  11. Just to point over ive nothing against anyone, though nobody here has bashed me :) and i for one dont mind people going ahead in queues if neseccery and i dont look up and down people as to say 'whats supposed to be up with you then'. As for the lifts, id gladley give my space to someone less able if needed although throughout the whole weekend for me personally the staris were easier, when i figured out the ups and downs of them since they kept changing throughout the days haha!
  12. Me and a friend managed four shoots testerday, all at the the same time and on three different floors. 2nd floors to top floor to ground floor. Yes we were nearly dead at the end but we got them. Was very unlucky for such a ting to happen but we did it. I planned it and said we have do this, then this and then those. If you try, you can do!
  13. That too but a wheelchair running over your foot could break it. There was a lot of people and everybody should respect each other space. I had one wheelchair user tell me to get out of the way. When I said a please and thank you would be nice I got a you shouldn't be stood in 'my' way!
  14. I was waiting get to write something although I'm sure I will be shot but ill say it in the nicest possible way. Some, not all by the way, disabled people are rude as fu@k. I'm sorry if you are disabled or what ever but using your wheelchair as a battering ram is bang out of order. Using itt to move people out of the way or using it to get in front of everyone. You have no right and we all struggled to get around with the amount of people. Or the least you can do is say sorry which not one person which not one person I came across did. Same with pram actually, and on that note as well there were some kids looking like they'd been left in the car for half an hour. Nearly naked kids because it was too hot for them. How about next time you leave th at home. No place for babies and toddlers.
  15. All of my photos go in photo albums as I think it is safer and easier to grab if the house is on fire haha
  16. They will not purposely go over capacity. They just wouldn't and it would be stupid and irresponsible of them. This is the reason there was a limit on tickets so thousanda would turn up an it would go to one in one out like last year. I actually saw the security with the little counters clicking get away at one point yesterday. So no its not about packing people in there is the safety aspect too. There washould a hell of a lot more space than last year.
  17. Stressful is exactly the word. Within the first half hour of being there I was thinking to myself, "to hell with this, I just want to get my photos/autos done and go". I didn't, of course, but still. About the doors -- there was one point during the afternoon where one of the lifts took a few of us down to the ground floor. What the crew member didn't tell us is that that particular lift would take us outside, not inside, so to get back into the venue we all had to walk around the building and go back in through the main doors. Since I hadn't left the venue all day I didn't have a stamp on my hand, but when I went through the doors no one even gave me a second glance. I could easily have been someone walking in off the street. And I missed two photoshoots due to the placement of the photoshoot areas and the crowds between them. Having one shoot in D and another in E, within ten minutes of each other, was just impossible when you had that slow-moving sea of people to weave your way through. We had four photos one three different floors at the exact same time. We did it. It was hard but we were running as fast as we could shouting excuse me and sorry a millions times on the way. One of them was on the first floor, next on the top floor and two on the grounday. You just need a loud voice on not be afraid to knock people. Lol
  18. Neve Campbell. Bad a nice chat with her at autographs and she pretended to stab me as I was dressed as scream in photo's.
  19. For me the weekend was fantastic. Friday got in the queue at 1pm and was in my 1.30pm. That day we wandered and got used to the set up and just had a look around. It was actually pretty cool that day and not as full as expected. Saturday arrived in queue at 8am and was in by 920, which again was pretty good. I personally had two Neve and a Bill photo shoot and Neve autograph. Got every every thing I needed. I did my scream outfit and she was more than happy to stab me haha. Queuing for photos was a bit squished in some places. I managed to jump to the front on my last shoot as it clashed with a talk. Perfect. Got my auto too and she wasn't busy so I got to hae a little chat with her. :). My friend then had four shoots that all overlapped. Seemed like it would be a disaster but no all the staff saw this and put us to the front. Only just made it to two but fortunately I can run and I'm sorry to anyone I may have hit in the process. After all that everything got done ad we left after the talk at six. Sunday we arrived at around ten and basically walked straight in...winner. Legged it for vqs, got Bill, Hayley and RDA. Got three other queued autos pretty quick. Went to Bill and was surprised at no queue. Went upstairs and waited to be able to queue for Hayley, bless her as I think she was tired but got through so fast. Went out for some food came back to look around and then at the end and went for RDA, slow guy haha, and in the end asked another con attendee to get the auto for us will I have was awesome by the way. All in all we got everything we came for plus more. Did the Sci Fi thing too. Good points, Every guest met were great and the variety was brill, and an actor called Robert saw our Ncis cosplay and lover it and we chatted and got a photo. While the lines were bad they weren't to bad. Every staff person we spoke to had answers and we're always smiling. THE FREAKING RAPTOR AND JURASSIC WORLD GUY. OMG AWESOME AND I MANAGED TO SNAG THE DINOSAUR AND IT IS MY HOTEL ROOM RIGHT NOW. All the stalls were brill. Couple of not bad things but can work on for next year as thiS was a hard venue and big but, better than Earls Court. Put the autos more together please maybe two floors above each othet and then there would be more room for queues and people aren't going here there and every where. Do the same for photos. We had four clashes nearly all at the same and on three different flours. Lifts were always full, you physically couldn't run anywhere. The stairs while good were annoying as some weren't allowing you up or down even though the stairs where there to use. While it was hot it wasn't overelly bad. The photo part clashing was the worst. After the running I was literally falling apart lol. But also I was dressed for the heat and everyday the weather outside was very not so no wonder it was a bit warm. Overall an amazing event, just a shame I didn't have more money to spend haha. Until next year. Also Showmastersee don't look at the bad points as bad, look at them as a way forward. Also a lot of people always want to complain about something the hasn't gone the way they wanted, take it on the chin as yet again it was BRILLIANT.

  21. A friend and I got in the queue at exactly 8am this morning. Queue started to move at around 9am and we were in at 9.20. All the olympia staff were absolutely awesome. Queuing everybody up it was perfect. Every staff member I encounter were happy and helpful. Amy problems wish clashing we were helped superbly although we did have a great dash get three photos that clashed. If I hit anyone I'm very sorry but we're only just by the skin of our teethadd it to the last two and that's because I could run slightly faster. Queuomg was slightly hetic sometimes but thats the attendees fault asuh as the staff. Other than that perfect day.
