  1. i hope you didnt have the orange ones there toms fave lol tom was great as ever wasnt he the times ive met tom is awesome I didnt get his autograph mainly as funds were tight and I wanted the photo sessions with him and a few other ppl plus i have his auto from a few years ago, but i watched in awe, when I saw that i was like a school girl meeting one of the pin up twighlight ppl lol, made my day saturday like meeting michael shanks did on sunday. when offering the jelly babies he was putting the big smile and teeth on, its was brilliant, i was watching the doctor again ;-)
  2. or blink or something similar so they take another photo and hope they put both out on the table ;-) on my tom baker one, he was talking to me on the first one, so she took another, when i went to collect, both were waiting for me, felt like i won the lottery for a moment lol
  3. no but im a very shy guy so find it hard to approach or speak to nice women despite being a large 6ft4 tall guy with an almost skin head and goatee, ppl never believe me when I tell them im shy :-( those star trek girls were beautiful this is me http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=8833...mp;l=2bc8091337 for some reason no matter what i cant upload an avatar on here :-(
  4. those star trek dressed women were so beautiful
  5. oh and tom baker giving out jelly babies whith his autograph, priceless! Brilliant stuff
  6. I think everybody who isnt a die hard potter fan was surprised at the phelps twins popularity lol, I was. but were they a late addition? might be why they were there and not in the main bit, as the guy on the end of the main bit both days near the expresso bar had almost no one see him at all, I felt sorry for him so that space would of been better used for them perhaps, though it may of made the area even more congested so who knows
  7. brilliant event, im a long time die hard fan of many films and shows but this is the first con ive been to properly, the amount of ppl and the prices have meant in the past ive just browsed the mk colectormania which was free entry, plus I dont have many scfi type friends who would go with me so id be on my own :-( but now ive got the bug, Im looking at all the events thinking can I afford it, who will I go with, can I get the time off work, looking forward to the london one end of november. I thought michael shanks was just brilliant, amazing how nice, fun, talkative, enthusiastic and friendly he was, I just did a photo shoot with him as im more into getting my pic taken than an autograph but I was at the venue both days and was hanging around the signing area alot, he was just so good to the fans and when i met him briefly in the photo shoot he was so nice and even put on a few poses prior whilst the cameraman took warm up shots, even in the strict no talking photo area A he said hello how are you to me and thanked me, he made my day he really did especially after I had not a bad but an upsetting experience just before getting fraizer hines autograph. I must say almost all the guests looked to be in similar form to michael but he was just brilliant, would love to see him at one of these things again! A few questions and thoughts why was fraizer hines auto free to every entry on sunday and was there a policy with him for no photos if u got his auto with this ticket? what the hell is cosplay? lol theatre area B was to close to the signing area and I thought with some of the guests it badly intruded in the fans talking to the stars, I know space wise its difficult but perhaps a little closer towards the cloakroom would of been better? more displays would of been nice rather than so many photo stalls, the terminator props bit was a bit of a sorry state lol the crew member (male, quite tall) who was organizing the photo area A on sunday around the time eve, michael and paul had shoots was brilliant, informative and organized, when u say u will get more space for next time as the attendance was so good this year do you mean another venue or will you be renting into ec2 north hall to extend the space? once again, great show, great guests, I was there mainly for the doctor who guests but having the us stars there made it special, scott was a big draw even at his higher price tag, and although Ill never get it, the twighlight guys attracted a boat load of fans (teenage girls lol) think the 2 main us stars and the twighlight/potter guests are what brought in more fans, would be interesting to see the numbers on who was the most popular? oh and danny turning up on the sunday as well, what a treat, if I had more funds id of seen him aswell but what a treat! and he mingled alot also, came through the main doors, brilliant, when u say this show will get better I get goosebumps at the prospect. cant wait for the next one thanks R
  8. olympia is a different location to earls court exhibition centres were the london film and comic con was, its run by the same company and some event managers work between the 2 but earls court and olympia are 2 different locations, close though, short ride on the district line from earls court to kensington olympia station http://www.eco.co.uk/about-us/contact-us/
  9. I would really like a droup of ppl from shows, like all the surviving docs or all of sg1 or all of red dwarf or all of the firefly cast, but id love for jewel to be there as I didnt have the time or funds to see her this time. lenard nimoy and william shatner! kiether sutherland freema aggyman john barroman naoko mori cos I love her to death, so beautiful sean bean (sharpe is the best!) ohh a sharpe reunion would be amazing
  10. fraizer I was going to pay for his autograph untill i got the free ticket, the only reason i was getting his auto was cos i wanted a photo with him and he wasnt doing a shoot, im not much of an autograph person, I prefer a photo and a hello and a hand shake, i was in the que, he was taking photos with other ppl and the crew member handing out virtual tickets said I could take a pic, when I got to him I was all hello sir nice to meet you, im a big fan went to shake his hand and the only reason he shook my hand i think is cos i caught him off guard but he gave me a bit of a funny look, when I went to take a pic he just looked down and the crew mwember gave me a dirty look and said no pics. I work at earls court so I was around all day both days and after this I saw him doing photos for other ppl. I was very upset. I dont know if it was him or the crew member didnt like the look of me or if there was a no pics with the free ticket policy? if thats the case i would of paid!!! not good at all, very disapointing for me as I loved him in doctor who :-(
  11. I thought michael shanks was brilliant, talkative, funny, polite, interactive, friendly, I was very surprised. such a nice guy, and he was mega busy saturday and relativly busy sunday and still he was always smiling and friendly and talkative, I was very impressed, would love to meet him again. even in the (military presision run, in out no talking photo area A) he was saying hi how are you to everyone, brilliant, brilliant guy all the ppl I met aside frazier hines were similar (mcgan/baker/courtney) all very nice, polite, talkative, tom baker didnt believe I was 6ft4 tall, he thought i was taller, he was saying its a long time since ive had to look upto anyone and another photo had to be taken cos he was mid saying no your taller, I dont bellieve you when the pic was taken lol, paul did a sorta cuddle/hang on my photo with him cos he couldnt reach over my shoulder cos of my height lol, I had an amazing time and aside my bad experience with fraizer i thought all the guests were very good with the fans, if I had more money i would of seem more ppl, was dieing to see jewel, eve, ironside and scott but michael was just amazing
