  1. It's always possible but make sure the first thing you do when you get in on Sunday is get a VQ ticket. If he's a quick signer he'll get through a few but don't forget you'll have all the package holders in front of you. So do you think it is safe to assume that Platinum gets priority for the autograph and photoshoot queues, the ticket packages page does say priority access to all queues and features but when I bought my 221B set photo with him I had to get a batch 2 photo.
  2. Shows what I know! I like being wrong about things!
  3. You could well be right, although I suspect knowing how sneaky and underhand these tabloids are they could probably quite easily find out if he was on holiday, and if so where he is! Either way let's see what tomorrow brings!
  4. Whether it would need this sort of build up or have enough doubts over whether it could happen I'm not sure, but I wonder if there could either be another cast or crew photo again? That silly Daily Mail article the other day suggested Cumberbatch was on holiday at the moment which could indicate it's not him.
  5. I've decided scheduled and clashes be damned!
  6. Cumberbatch is coming and will be having a bare knuckle boxing match, winner takes all with Andrew Scott
  7. I keep thinking back to last year where it was possible to get everything done on a gold pass so surely with a platinum and no Cumberbatch it has to be easier...right?!
  8. I'm in Platinum A so looks like more shoots on Saturday but more potential clashes on Sunday. Hopefully Platinum should mean I get in the first group for Andrew Scott on Saturday.
  9. To be fair there could be a variance in prices of talks and the number that each person might want to go to. If someone wants to see all the guests from a particular series give a talk and they end up getting all or most of them included in their package, they might need to only put a bit of money aside, if they have few or none included they might need to allocate significantly more for talks.
  10. It's not much help I know but with Sherlocked we had a rush of news, including guest announcements, talk schedules, autograph packages etc about a week or so before the event. Whether it will be something similar with this show I don't know.
  11. Knowing my luck I'd get locked in a room and would end up missing a load of photoshoots or something!
  12. It does occur that if they wanted to pad out the value of the packages a bit then they could follow a similar route as they did last year and give out a pre-signed picture or two. My guess is even if there are future events that we probably won't see Freeman at one but maybe a pre signed 10x8 would be better than nothing.
  13. I was a bit shocked to hear that, possibly there was an early arrival or something. Still Danny Webb isn't a bad replacement
  14. That article is brilliant, classic daily mail, complete misunderstanding of the facts, total misrepresentation of the event, a dig about refugees and some vastly overstated outrage! It was unfortunate they couldn't complete the full set and chuck in some vague homophobia like they usually do! I'll look forward to them regurgitating last years article about what a terrible event it was even though everyone I spoke to was really enjoying themselves!
  15. At the last show Steven Moffat and Sue Vertue signed one free autograph for each attendee (I think, don't think it was for specific ticket prices only) so it's possible it may be a similar arrangement for these two.
  16. I found last time it paid to get the autos whenever it was quiet and the guest didn't have a queue. I remember seeing Louise first thing on the Saturday morning with no one there so I thought she would be like that all weekend so I left it, every time after that she had a massive queue so I ended up having to wait till quite late on the Sunday to get her signature, lesson learned there!
  17. All of them! Seriously, if you can afford it go for what you want, you don't want to regret it after. If money is a bit tight go with your favourite characters/actors out of those on offer. That's the problem with Sherlock, there's not really a duff character in the whole thing and everyone is almost perfectly cast. It's not so much the money, it's more about the timetable, with a platinum pass there is already a lot to fit in. Have to admit the Holmes family one is very tempting, the only drawback for me (being a pedantic soul) is that none of those characters visited 221b in The Abominable Bride! I misread that as 'Buff'! Fair comment though but I'm still happy with my purchase despite that I doubt you'll regret it, the parent scenes were some of the best things about series three!

  19. My heads gone into meltdown, my big regret of the last show was not getting a set photo with a guest (particularly himself!) so I was determined to get one this time but I don't know which one to get!
  20. I was still thinking that after the event opened on the Saturday morning, I can remember saying that I felt there were too many guests and attendees for the thing to work properly but by the end of the weekend I realised they had got the planning spot on!
  21. Shame their days don't overlap to allow another talk with Mark and Andrew, they were so funny together last time. The talks they have on do look good though, potentially some good combinations there, especially the one with Una Stubbs, Wanda Ventham and Timothy Carlton.
  22. And the schedule has Arwel listed as doing a talk so I guess he is coming!
  23. I don't think Stateside Stills have been at any of the DST events so far in the UK. I would definitely say if it's unsigned non ST photos that you want, then to get them in advance, I don't really remember seeing any available at the other events, even unsigned ST pictures were a bit few and far between from the dealers.
  24. I think to be fair to the organisers here, they probably have to have all the contracts etc 100% in place before they can officially announce anything. It's possible they are going for a bulk announcement as well which could mean they are being held up by one guests paperwork before they are in a position to say anything. It's not the same I know but this happens a lot with things like football transfers, usually the club are the last ones to make an official announcement.
