  1. Cant say it seems an especially obvious one to me either, admittedly Search For Spock isn't my favourite film, but I'm not sure they were even on screen together!
  2. Fairly doubtful I would think, anything like that would need changes to the timetable etc and I can't see them doing anything like that at this late stage.
  3. This page on the NEC website (http://www.thenec.co.uk/visiting-us/facilities), says the following: "There are cloakrooms adjacent to halls when shows are open. Visitors can store bags, coats and luggage for £1 per item per day. Overnight storage is not available. Please note: there are no cloakroom facilities in the Genting Arena."
  4. I can't remember ever seeing anything at Birmingham International, never really looked seriously admittedly but nowhere that jumped out at me.
  5. 99/100 that's exactly what I'd do, just had a funny five minutes with her! I don't generally post photos of myself on here, this section of the forum is fairly pleasant but I have come across some right weirdos on here down the years who I wouldn't fancy bumiping into in a quiet corner of Olympia!
  6. There were stalls selling uniforms, t-shirts etc last time
  7. Of you? What portfolio wouldn't be complete without a few self-portraits!
  8. Then it could be a problem as the morning session ends at 10h20 and I have a bridge photoshoot with Marina Sirtis at 10h25-10h50 and I'm batch 1 for that one.Would it be a problem to just go at the second Shatner session even if my batch has already been called at the morning one? Going to the second one will be fine but it's entirely doable if you do want to do it in the morning. Go to the bridge shoot and then just go to Marina's after and join the end of the batch 1 queue if you want to, there wouldn't be an issue with that way around. Guests should be signing non Star trek items, the usual rule applies that if it's nude/semi nude or if you know the guest doesn't like signing items from that film/show it's advisable to take a second back up item but I don't see any issue with BTTF stuff. He signed lots of them at LFCC last year and they have BTTF pictures for him in the Destination pre orders. The organisers haven't said at any point that it's Trek only and I know at Sherlocked I've had non Sherlock items signed with no problems. Thanks! I'll leave the Chris Lloyd half nude pics at home . Appreciate the fast reply. I'm gonna bring the Flux! 9. It's not that bad but it is a bit noticeable, it's exactly what you said though, she was the first guest I had my picture with over the weekend and I am often a bit more conscious with the female guests not to do anything they might not feel comfortable with. Probably unnecessary in her case as she seemed quite comfortable with an arm round the shoulder but you never know. Daft really because I usually lose my arm behind their back so it's not touch but you can't see it in the photo anyway. I did that with Yasmine and the photo came out fine, my only challenge there was keeping my eyes fixed ahead and not to get caught looking down!
  10. Colour me purple but what is hover handling? I wasn't in the last talk on Sunday but didn't Jason announce there would be another one? Also if t=you look at the brochure on the inside front page it says they will b announcing news in 2016 about the next one. He did, that was me just trying not to tempt fate!
  11. I've finally got round to sorting all my autographs and photoshoots into a single place, reminded myself of the worst case of hover handing I reckon anyone has ever done on Amanda Abbington but for the most part it was a good reminder of a great weekend! Hopefully it won't be the last one on these shores!
  12. My feeling last year was that there wasn't such a wide choice of photos available as there was in 2012.
  13. I've never tried with boots or Jessops but I've certainly done that with a lot of online photo places and it's always been ok. I think as long as they can see it's just one picture you are printing so it's not for commercial use it should be ok. I have to say when he did LFACC there didn't seem to be a million and one ST images of Christopher Lloyd available, I'm not sure though with this being an official event if they might have access to a few more.
  14. I think last year they had a TNG 10x8 cast photo available from the event photo sales desk, which made sense as they had most of the cast, but I don't think they had them for any other series. Dealers is in the lap of the gods but there didn't seem to be many unsigned photos available for sale other than the official event photos. I thought someone said Stateside Stills were closed for a holiday until next week but I might be thinking of something else.
  15. Should be fairly straight forward, assuming you have bought your entry tickets already, go to the photoshoot area, usually a good idea to get there a bit before the start time. After that it's just a case of doing what the crew member running the queue area tells you. I'm assuming they will queue people in batches (your ticket should have a batch number on it) so when they call your batch get in the queue!
  16. Might be my memory playing tricks but I'm pretty sure he attended a CM at the MK shopping centre a few years ago.
  17. I think the NEC does have facilities but I'd be surprised if you could access them at midnight. The Hilton does have a concierge service where you can leave bags though. It's just inside the main entrance.
  18. I think it was a very positive element of the event that everyone was able to get a good selection of autographs from some fairly distinguished behind the scenes people included in even the cheapest ticket prices.
  19. That rings a bell now you say it, was that for his first photo shoot on Sunday?
  20. I was initially disappointed as I'd bought a Shatner bridge photo and a Takei/Koening combo bridge photo on the basis that one with all three would be unlikely to happen. Having thought about it though, its not the end of the world, and to be fair its possible this one took a bit longer to get everyone to agree to on the basis of past history! I've had a quick look at the autograph and talk groups for the commander packages, they don't look too bad. Only slight disappointment is that these announcements do appear to be it for guest announcements now.
  21. I've stayed there quite a few times for Autographica, it's a nice place, breakfasts are pretty decent although the evening meal options are a bit pricey so it's worth looking elsewhere if you can.
  22. I missed the twerking, but I did hear a few versions of Happy Birthday to people who may or may not have had birthdays that day coming from photo area A on Sunday afternoon! I have to say though, from what I saw the crew did a great job with the photo shoot queues over the weekend.
  23. Don't think it is up yet, I'd guess next week Edit, I should have checked Facebook before posting this, apparently it's going up on Friday!
  24. She did seem to split her time between the two areas plus I think she did at least one talk on the second stage. I seem to remember at last years event she was on hand during some of the photo shoots to touch up some of the guests make-up so whether she was also doing stuff like that over the weekend as well. Beryl only seemed to be signing on Sunday and didn't seem to appear until at least late morning, perhaps another one you had to be fortunate on your timing with. When she signed my poster there was only one person in front of me so I may have got there just after she had arrived.
  25. She wasn't the easiest one to get so when the chance was there I made sure to get it!
