I think with the announcement of Connor and Dominic, Scott Bakula, Jolene Blalock or any of the other Enterprise NX-01 crew would be great additions.

I cant seem to find a topic or mention of it anywhere... Showmasters events generally seem to have talks, is Cardiff going to have any? I see no mention of any is all! Cheers.

Surely it doesn't have to be a specific character. If you are dressed as a captain what's to stop you specifying you are Kirk anyway? Or any other captain mentioned in films, books, comics etc. They can hardly say otherwise if you've got the correct uniform on and as far I know that's the only criteria you need to fullfil. I am dressing as an original series starfleet captain though not a particular character, just a general captain, would that count? Or does it have to be as specific as say Captain kirk?

I have noticed a few people saying they are still booking tickets for this and that, now I was under the impression ticket bookings had passed the cut off point and could now only be done on the day?

Im curious as to the limit on how many people can go in, I left it thinking I would pay on the door but kinda wish Id booked it now! I suppose untill the day theres noway of knowing. I know tickets didnt sell out.

This event is a great opportunity for a good start on them, and agreed, sad on the front with the original cast but Id like to get the ones I can. Like I say I would get a few 12x10s but frames and mounts for that size are quite hard to find for somereason, or prehaps thats just me?

Hi, so im looking for some advice, usually with autos I tend to go with an 8x10 per actor however Im debating starting collecting autos from the cast of the original series, TNG, Voyager and DS9 but all on one photo (or four rather, one for each series), my actual question is, what size would you guys recommend for a photo likely to get so many autographs? I get the feeling an 8x10 would be too small. But going the size up makes framing harder and not to mention a lot of wallspace, incredibly torn!

I see a lot of posts here for separate actors from this but, I suggest this as a whole, guests from the Marvel Cinematic universe (Iron Man/Incredible Hulk/Iron Man 2/Thor/Captain America: the First Avenger/Avengers Assemble) These movies are among the biggest films going currently, Avengers assemble the third biggest film of all time, so of course interest in these guests would be huge. Im sure everyone would love to see the likes of Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans and Tom Hiddleston at a con, and even the supporting cast such as Cobie Smulders, Clark Gregg and also people behind the cameras. I appreciate many of the cast may be difficualt to get, but its certainly an exciting idea that some of these guests could attend.

Interesting question to which Id also love an answer :) Ive made some costumes before but never for a con and the standard is always really high, so I want to make something fantastic haha, hoping to do my first cosplay this october :)

I do very much like the thought of a big event in cardiff, simply because Im from wales, it would be nice to have one so close :) Always worth the travel to London though!

So a few things Im a big fan of: Doctor Who, Firefly, Star Trek, Marvel, DC, X-Files, Farscape, Jurassic Park, Evil Dead, Simon Pegg, Bruce Campbell, the Big Bang Theory, Harry Potter, Death Note, the films of Guillermo Del Toro, Robert Rodriguez, Zack Snyder. I could go on and on but you get the idea! I wish to be a film maker, have a short film and some scripts under my belt but early days yet. I love conventions, some fantastic memories, you can see some of the people Ive met in my signature. Really interested in cosplaying, I did pretty good original costumes of 'the dark knight' Joker and The Tenth Doctor for Hallloween before, but Id like to really go for it at a con at somepoint in the future. Anyway, thats a bit about me, taken a few years to do this but, HI! *waves*

Id like to say a huge thankyou to everyone at showmasters and all the guests who made this such a great LFCC! The venue was gorgeous, my favourite yet, I really hope you guys chose to use it again one day. The photo collection was brilliant and very very quick, found it slow in past years but you guys were really on the ball, much appreciated. Qeues were fine, a little confusing qeueing for the odd photo shoot, but I can say the staff really did do their best. The staff were great actually, very polite and often excited. Nice to see. I liked the layout for the most part, the huge guest area was great, the chill out zones good, lots of places to eat. A big shout out to all the cosplayers this weekend too, outstanding, amazing effort. Thanks guys for a great day,
