  1. You know you have been playing too much Chinatown Wars on the DS when the word dealers doesn't mean tables laden with film Collectables!
  2. Robin Hood guests, Jonas Armstrong, Sam Troughton, Lucy Griffiths, Keith Allen, Gordon Kennedy, Harry Lloyd, Joe Armstrong, Anjali Jay and so on.
  3. Lol, if we're going down that road, I blame Showmasters that I didn't have money for everything that I wanted
  4. Absolutely agree 100%, Showmasters please tell Richard that we all thought he was wonderful and ask him to come back soon!
  5. I would probably die of excitement, but would love to meet the Hoff. The man is a legend.
  6. The crew were awesome! I spotted DavidB several times, always surprised that you are not taller, I guess you give off a tall vibe in your posts!?! Special thanks to the lady sitting next to Nathan on Sunday, both she and Nathan were super with my niece.
  7. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the pre order service. I too think it's a genius idea, might come in handy for the future.
  8. Definately, Peter Facinelli and Edward Furlong. Money permitting Michael Ironside, Justin Chon and Alex Meraz. Throw in a couple of photoshoots and that's me cleaned out.
  9. Whereabouts in Bedfordshire would you be travelling from? I usually get a one day travelcard from Luton and get the tube to Earls Court underground, then as someone mentioned it's a very short walk to the venue. I have been able to meet 4+ guests in one day, I always aim to be at the venue an hour before doors open. Have a look at the prices guests will be charging, I use this as a guideline of how in demand they will be. For example, Peter Facinelli is £20 and will be quite busy, Mark Ryan is £15 and will probably have less of a queue /wait. This is not 'fact' just my opinion and based on previous experiences. Of the guests you want I would suggest eating them in order of importance as it were, for example mine are Peter Facinelli (very popular, important to get a VT early). Edward Furlong (second because I he has not done an event that I know of since I started collecting in 04) and so on. If you haven't already I would suggest reading Too Tall's comprehensive FAQ's you will find a mountain of information on how these events are run and how to get the best out of your day. When your at the event itself ask a crew member for help if you need it, I have always found them extremelly helpful in the past. Most importantly, have fun, cons are a great way to say thanks to the people who entertain us and to make new friends.
  10. I'll bet some people were a little scared. The Joker was awesome and quite scary, imagine turning the corner and bumping into him.
  11. Nathan Fillion A true gentleman! Called me sweetness in the photoshoot and gave me a lovely hug. Then shook mine and my nieces hand and introduced himself when I went to get the Photoshoot pic signed. He commented that the photo had turned out nice. Asked my niece if he could check she had bones in her arm and then proceeded to wiggle her arm so it looked floppy, causing her to laugh hystericaly for 5 minutes. Then he told her she has SpaghettiArmitis and that there was nothing he could do about it! Brilliant. Richard Chaves Introduced himself, shook my hand and spoke with such warmth and sincerity that I wanted to sit with him all day and talk about how cool Predator is. Two truly wonderful guests!
  12. The Joker man was excellent, I had my photo taken with him and Batman on Sunday and they were both charming!
  13. My niece was over the moon when she saw 'Onslow', she usually hides when we meet a guest but this time she ran round the table gave him a hug and posed for a picture!
  14. Hello :) Avril, 30 from Chavtastic Luton. I love Firefly, 24, Lost, Supernatural, David Hasselhoff, Sarah Connor Chronicles and many many more. Favourite films include Lord of the Rings, Everthing is Illuminated, All 80's action movies especially Predator and Commando. Amelie, District 13, Spirited Away and so on. I have been attending Collectormania's since C4 and the madness that was Elijah Wood. I can be a bit fangirly right up to the point where high pitched screams occur. I have many pets- Mental Jack Russell puppy, 5 ferrets, chickens and a duck called Mr. Quackers! I used to love Harry Potter to bits, but the seventh book was so bad I only read it once. I adore the Twilight Saga, Eclipse is my favourite. I love all music from Elvis to Green Day. I have been rambling on long enough now, cheers!
