I'm perfectly happy with mine - I think the TARDIS looks really good, and I had a good amount of it and me and Karen in it. Also, I can see the TARDIS is a 3D prop rather than a backdrop as it's clearly seen at a diagonal in mine. I also think it helped that I'm short and we were so close together. Also, I wouldn't have wanted a full body shot - I didn't even realise the TARDIS was going to be in the picture until after buying the photoshoot, and as I'd want me and Karen to be the focus, I'm glad we are.

I think it was really good she was screened off. The signing area was clogged up enough as it was - it would have been hell if people had been standing round gawking at her too. I think it's a fantastically effective measure of crowd control - and tbh if anyone was that determined to meet her I would assume they'd stick around the whole day. I had a problem with the kid giving out the talk tickets too as he didn't seem to know what was happening - so I found another crew member to talk to (a woman with long black hair) who was EXTEREMELY helpful and found out everything I wanted to know, even popping in to a talk to check with a woman supervising in there. As I've always found - if one crew member isn't helpful, ask another and they may be more willing to help or may have more knowledge.

Karen was wonderful - I didn't get an auto as I couldn't afford any autos this year (sadface) - but in the photoshoot she was absolutely lovely and was perfectly happy to give me a hug when I asked. Also, even though it was going at a fast pace it didn't feel rushed, which was a nice change! Her talk was fantastic too, and she seemed like she was genuinely enjoying herself. This photo totally made my weekend. @ MykiiAmore - omg that photo of you with Karen is GORGEOUS! You must be on cloud nine

I only ask if I see they're willing to have interaction, and I'm not told there's a no touching/hugging rule. I had no problem asking Sir Derek Jacobi or Karen Gillan - Sir Derek I didn't give a full on hug because he put his arm over my shoulder (which was my aim) so took my cue from him, whereas Karen enveloped me in a hug I didn't ask Brent Spiner though as he didn't seem too keen on hugging, and was putting his hand over peoples shoulders anyway. Basically, I look at how they interact with the people in line in front of me, and if they seem they might be okay with the idea then I ask very politely - then take my cue from them. For instance, a couple of years ago I had one with Kai Owen - I didn't even ask for a hug, he just held his arms wide and told me to come to him so I gave him a massive bear hug as that was what was initiated by him so it wasn't awkward. EDIT: oh, and not so much a bad experience but an embarassing one - my first ever photo shoot was with Burn Gorman, but I've since found guests tend not to expect girls to shake their hands - I went to shake his hand but he went to put his arm round me so I ended up hitting him in the stomach, then got all flustered and trod on his foot. He thought it was really funny while I was mortified... I got a nice photo though!

I've noticed Brent Spiner has had his autograph price listed, and the shop has had stuff added to it, but still no photoshoot for him? Any idea when it's going to go on sale?

Voted for Ian Holm, Hayden, and Ewan. But I've no interest in Ian Holm. Ewan has been my idol for years. I'd kill to meet him...but at the same time I don't know if I want to as he's such a hero of mine and I don't want to do anything that might put my rose tinted view of him in jeopardy. But a photo for £50? Yeah, I'd do that. May not get an auto though for that price, but a photo, yes. And Hayden - I'd want a photo, not an auto. I really wouldn't want to pay more for him than Ewan as I adore Ewan, whereas Hayden is just Anakin. But at the same time, it's Anakin! So yeah, push comes to shove, I probably would pay £55 for a photo. But not for an auto.

I have, but not at an SM event. It was at a different con, and the guest did personalisations and chatted lots - the queue was actually cut off after me, but they only got half way through the queue. So there were a lot of disappointed people, including me, so I'm one of the people who would rather just have a quick autograph so that everyone/as close to everyone as possible gets something, rather than some people having lots of awesome and everyone else having nothing. Although having said that, I'd rather have a personalisation than just an autograph. So I'm glad I'm not the one who has to make these decisions! I just understand why they're sometimes made. So far, I've never missed out on getting an autograph at a SM event. They're just so well organised, and as long as I don't get a ridiculously high VQ ticket I've been fine...but on the occasion I do, I've still met them as they make the effort to get through everyone.

I'm photo 29. And to think, I had to reset my password and re-do my billing information before I could order and I was panicking it would be sold out before I'd got my order through maybe I should too, I'm 5'2"...how tall are you?
