Yes you have to purchase an entry ticket!

The tickets are sold in purely numerical order, so you probably would be in different groups (assuming a lot were sold), but from what TooTall has said in the past, if you and your friends are in different groups, the ones who are in the higher group (e.g. Silver group 1) could join the ones in the lower group (e.g. silver group 4), but not vice versa! Basically I think you just have to let TooTall/the crew know, but I'm sure a Mod will be on soon to confirm this!

Not to be a cynic or anything, but I'm not getting excited about this announcement until I see him on stage at Hub 7!

I'm Gold 3 this time and I've been to all of the Hubs!

I'm totally gutted that there's no "main cast" guest. Yes, I know we have lots of other guests, but it's just not the same!

I've had an amazing time this weekend thanks to the organizers, the crew and of course the guests! I'd like to give special thinks to the lovely lady on the registration desk on Sunday afternoon who managed to find me a replacement copy of the Chevron 7.7 ticket request form by rifling through unused registration packs - it was much appreciated!

People have different preferences when it comes to beds and mattresses. I prefer mine hard as I can get in and literally fall asleep straight away. The softer the matress, the longer I stay awake. It wasn't so much the hardness/softness of the mattress, as the fact that it was on a bit of a slant, so I had to wedge myself onto it with pillows otherwise I constantly rolled to the left!

Highs would be my photoshoot hug with RDA, the Sunday afternoon panels and meeting so many lovely people! Lows would be my hotel bed - its probably the worst I've ever encountered!

I thought it worked brilliantly - so much easier than having to fumble around for the booklet/voucher!

Follow the signs in the NEC for "Hotels" and you should come out to a bus stop kinda place with a zebra crossing. The Hilton should also be quite visible in the distance. Cross the crossing turn Right at the pond/lake thing and you should be able to find your way easily. Thank you! I wrote that down too, but I'm going to try and find this free bus that the Hilton has, tried to find it last time but nope, I was probably looking right at it too. lol Of course, thats how i got there last time! Can't remember where from though! lol

I am now feeling physically sick with nervous excitement! I don't know how I'm going to survive until my train at 11.30! I'm dreading trying to find the hotel from the train station. I've been there once before, but I can't remember that part!

My train doesn't get in until about 10 to 3, so I'll try and make that time, but it will all depend on check-in queues!

I appreciate that you're trying your best, but my personal preference would be for a big name guest, otherwise I'd be pretty gutted that I bought a gold ticket (which was admittedly at my own risk!)

I've thought for ages that he wasn't coming, but I'm still sorry to have been proved right. I hope we get an excellent replacement guest (and I have every confidence that ME are working hard on this) otherwise I'm going to be rather gutted at the amount of money I and others are spending to attend. The problem is we've had such brilliant guests from the first Hub onwards, that ME have set themselves some pretty high standards to meet!
