godddddd, i am gonna LOVE the music at this con!!! Yey! And johnny cash, can never go wrong with a bit of cash! I just thought I'd post my thoughts... I was REALLY worried about meeting him as me and my family have all been huge star trek fans for years and years and seeing some of the reports of him being a little short, you do always worry when it's someone that youve idolised for years and it could all be shattered in a couple of minutes... BUT i have to say he was absolutely lovely, he said hello, actually ASKED ME where HE would like me to sign my boxset (which nearly floored me - theres little ol ME telling the Shatner where to sign!!) and then as he handed it back to me smiled the biggest smile and said, make sure you let it dry! and said thank you to me.....I was just over the moon to be honest as I never thought I would get that much interaction, a 'hello' and a 'thank you' would have been enough for me from someone like him, so I have to say I was totally over the moon!

Oh you'll be all lovely and tanned in your pic! I always look like death eeeeeee I know!! don't worry hun - I usually end up looking funny in some way in my pics - double chin fest!! even though the posters around the photoshoots say 'lift your head' I always seem to forget this!!

......wow, I missed all of this away sunning myself!!!! Well, to be a small voice in the crowd, I heard about this while in cyprus, spoke to sassy, and decided on the spot to cancel Ibis and book a double in the park inn. Was thinking about doing it anyway to be fair as its just nicer to be in the middle of the action i guess. So well chuffed, and the incentive worked, thanks lots SM! I'm SO excited about this convention and cant believe we don't have long to wait now till I'll be wrapping my paws around Sam....... worth every penny!! so come on peeps, its gonna be a BLAST!!!

funn you should say that, i bought the shoes i wanted the other day for fangtasia! They are made by TUK, big platforms that are black with stars on (ooooooh!!). Sassy has a nightmare with me as I just cant wear heels, but I just love shoes sooooo much, and she warns me about getting heels literally for every convention!!! I always buy them, wear them for 5 minutes, and then they get taken off and they sit on the floor looking all pretty while i flomp about with no shoes on.....pretty much guaranteed it will happen again at bitten!! also got my PVC skirt in the post yesterday but it's got a fag burn mark on it or something, so its going straight back!! what a pain!
