  1. its all down to personal preferance. I dont thnik the the line up of stars is strong. i'm sorry but if you want a autograph from a washed up boxer who beats his wife more power too you. why should gmex play second fiddle to milton keynes, if people are paying to get in gmex where as mk is free to get in therefore gmex should have better guests.
  2. bingo, thats what it is. lets end it on that note...
  3. the point i'm trying to make is that there seems to be less well known guests compared to the last one. i cant afford to got to the likes of mkcm etc. it seems that cmgmex isnt getting the quality of guests as mk or last cmgmex. and the thing about under 30 was meant not for the people that already attend avents like these, but at people who may turn up on the day. getting some one from lost/csi/ main star from prison break would and will attract more people than the goodies. I am going as enjoyed the last one (my 1st) if this one changes my opinion then i'll hold my hands up1
  4. you know i have to agree with you totally on this there is not enough of a mix of stars compared to feb's. there's to many 'classic' guests and not enough new ones. how do you expect people under the age of 30 to be attracted to this event if you dont cover enough of todays film/tv. its my personal opinion that showmasters were betting there hand with bradon routh and when that fell through they were left with trying to fill the gap he left. this opion may well change depending if showmasters add anymore guests but with just over 3 weeks left, cant see it myself. it does suprise me that there is no established star wars characters.
  5. cmgmex could be a good place to do a comic thing as it gets missed up here. if its to late for this one what about the 1 in feb to try and get a few more comic peeps in and even tie it in with the auto's and get some peeps from comic related films?
  6. would be nice to see some one that wasnt there last time though, comic seem to get missed at manchester
  7. good to see mccrea added to the show anymore???
  8. i've got a few more suggestions (these are all british comic writers/artists but are V BIG industry wise): bryan hitch alan davies frank quitley john McCrea (was @ feb's gmex) garth ennis (could do a hitman reunion with McCrea) and last Warren Ellis who is writing Marvels bigggest story in years Civil War showmasters its over to you...........
  9. showmasters throwing in some comic guests, how about some more established comic guests. like: mark millar, alan moore or maybe some american one's.....
  10. Are showmasters doing a artist alley of sorts again like last time? I got to meet john mccrea and he drew me a darth vader picture.
  11. how about some more comic type guest's, try and get a few american ones over.
  12. i think invinceble would be a good movie. or walking the dead but it would be like all the other zombie films. you coluld do a jla or teen titans movie?
  13. how many comic shops are there where you live? i live manchester and there are 2 that i know of (forbiden planet & tralveling man). do you think there good, what are the staff like?
  14. highlights of my day were: Meeting ray park, top bloke, really polite couldnt ask for a better star to meet for a firat timer. got him to sign a poster for my lilttle lads step brother. Then i met john mcrea another top bloke got him to do a full body sketch for my little lad and then i got him to sign a punisher comic of mine that he drew. + i got waliking the dead tpb vol 3 & 4 with 20% off!!!! for my 1st show i was well impressed.
