I know what you mean! My current camera is a kodak, and although great outside in daylight, you can forget it if you're inside, or it's dark! Thats why I needed advice this time really. I had a brilliant camera a few years back, sadly broken now, which was most excellent - great zoom, great in the dark etc. The only downside with it was that it wasn't digital. Price wise, I'm not really keen on going above £250 unless I have too. I just want the best 'point and shoot' compact with a good zoom/good indoors pix I can get for the price Thanks for your advice Max

Thanks for your quick reply, I really appreciate it. I have just looked at the specs for the Tz3/5 and they seem to be the best I've looked at all day! It's nice to have the perspective of someone who has used their camera successfully at cons - which Is why I asked here originally. Would you say your camera would be effectivve at concerts too? HI all, Off topic I know, but I have been loking for a decent camera for ages, and I really wanted it for this weekend for the talks etc. I am hopeless at choosing, and checking through thousands of reviews, but I know a lot of peeps have great ones for cons, so I just needed a few tips. I really would like a compact one with a decent zoom, which is good at taking pix in poor light too. Hope this make sense, if not - ignore, ha ha! Many Thank, Max

I have no idea how many free autos etc we'll get, but at other SM cons, extra autos are available at the event. That's what I'll do if we just get the 6 autos, Max ;0)
