I just wanted to say Thank You for all 8 brilliant hubs. To Jason, Mark, Paul, TooTall, all the crew, Malcolm, and to all the fans who I have met, chatted to and befriended over the years at my favourite con ever. And to all the guests for being so down to earth, friendly and hilariously funny. I am so going to miss The Hub. Hub 8 was brilliant, though a little quiet (we did manage to make lots of noise though), and very emotional at the end too. One thing I will take away from hub 8 is my actually winning something this time too - breakfast with Kai, as I am normally too terrified to enter/ bid on these types of prizes! Thanks Dawn for helping me out. I hope you guys will post your memories of HUB 8, as I am always hopeless at remembering everything until you jog my memory! I did remember to watch 'man falling off chair'on youtube though, which had me cracking up before it happene as I could picture the guys faces from yesterday watching it on stage! Highlights for me; Kai's Hub thank you speech during his talk, which set some of us off in the front row, at least; Kai phoning up Tom Price and letting us chat to him, and a Message from Russell T via Gary Russell saying thank you to us all for our support - can anyone remember the exact words here? We were all blubbing again at this stage! I don't want to believe it's actually over now. Hope to see some of you at Chevron, and other ME cons too. Hugs, Maxine

Hi Debs, the best time I ahd was when my sis decided she wasn't coming snd I got to talk to anyone/everyone in the queues etc. Don't worry hun! How could I have forgotten those two? Doh! Hate photos of me but have always been happy with the quality of the results these two produce. I hate photos of me too! I don't seem to look too bad when the pros take them. The odd blink aside . . .

As always mum and I had a totally fab time, and are on a complete downer now, missing everyone/thing! I think everyone has said how fabulous the talks were, and it seemed more like a hub con than a chevron one at times! We had a 'little' altercation on Saturday when trying to get into the hall for talks as people just wouldn't let us through when our number was called - I have to say these were people I didn't recognise from any previous cons though. Then when we got into the hall, we had some people rushing down to meet their friends who were already on the row we had chosen, trying to move us out! The whole group seemed to have ticket no's about 50 behind our own too. Needless to say, we weren't going to let that happen and stayed put, and there was no need to let crew know in this case. I noted on Sunday that it seemed to be people we recognised queuing outside the hall, and many had had similar experiences on the Saturday. This is the only time this has happened in all the years I've been going to cons though. I like the idea of loading into different doors too, if that is possible at the radisson. Massive Thanks to all the crew for being amazing as ever, to Malcolm and Danielle for the perfect (for me!) photos, and a special mention to Ali and Katie on the reg desk for doing a fab job as always sorting out all our extra tickets etc, and for booking for 7.9, even to the extent that they didn't get to hear any talks.
