  1. The most I've met in ages - with any luck! Denis Lawson x 2 Ahmed Best x 2 Armin Shimmerman Steven Lang Belinda McLory Billy Bryan Paul Goddard Matt Doran Carl Weathers Stephen Moore Joe Calzaghe Stirling Moss Geoff Hurst Gordon Banks Stephen Hendry Jimmy White Jimmy Greaves John Barnes Richard Bonehill And then maybe some of the other Star Wars guests if I can afford them. This show really is a very, VERY good lineup for me personally and is going to be very expensive!
  2. What a load of tosh!! I don't know anyone who'd pay to meet some Youtube jerk.
  3. Scott Capuro would be good as a first time SM guest - I know he's done store signings and other events, but I don't think he's ever done one for SM?? Could be wrong though.
  4. More Matrix guests - don't care who, just more Matrix guests please!!! Oh, and I wholeheartedly agree with people suggesting Clone Wars voice artists.
  5. It just goes to prove that Keiths are not to be trusted, young David.
  6. You'd be well advised to do that in any case! Actually, I think the title of my new Sitcom can be amended to "Keiths Behaving Badly", the cameras follow Keiths Chegwin, Harris and Porter around in their day to day misdemeanors. It'd be a bit like the Chuckle Brothers, but probably not as funny in all honesty.
  7. I didn't realise he had this store - so thanks for the link spocks-brain. I think I'm going to buy a couple more to add to the two items I've already got signed.
  8. The way I look at it, Denis Lawson is worth more than someone like Alan Harris or Jeremey Bulloch - both of whom had very limited roles, yet charge £15. £20 is a more than fair price for a character who was clearly portrayed by the man (ie - he's not in a suit and mask) and who had dialogue in all three films. It is totally justified by comparison to the prices people happily pay for other guests.
  9. I commented in the other thread of the forum, but will add my thoughts here as well. Like all of you, I had the pleasure of meeting Tony at Autographica in 2008, and then again last year. I think the fact that his passing has made headline news today goes to show just how big a star he really was. I also think there's something fitting with him passing on the 50th anniversary of the Flintstones. The Stony Curtis episodes is one of the all time classics, and when you consider that the legacy of that particular show has seen the creation of things like The Simpsons and Family Guy, you realise just how influencial and relevant that golden age of Film and TV still is today. My personal faves of Tony's films are Some Like It Hot and The Vikings. Two roles so far removed from each other that it demonstrated just how flexible and talented an actor he really was. RIP TC. You will be missed by many.
  10. Sad news indeed. I've met Tony twice and he was on top form on both ocassions. He will be missed by many. :-( RIP
  11. We need some more Matrix guests at events over here, so these announcements are most welcome! I hope this is a sign of things to come from SM. I'll be starting off a poster at this event that's for sure!
  12. There are also 3 Matrix guests, which I am really pleased about - CAN WE HAVE SOME MORE MATRIX guests please SM?!!!
  13. Any chance of ensuring that John wil have some photos of him playing for England? I'm not bothered about getting an autograph of him on an image playing for either of his clubs, but I do have an interest in and England photo. Same could be said for the likes of Jimmy Greaves - every event he's been at he has only had Spurs photos. I just want these players in England shirts - any chance SM?
  14. I really want Roubijcek, Geddis and Schofield - they've all done events before that I missed and I really want all of them on my ANH poster. Oh, and Carrie is well overdue an appearance in the UK!!! PLEASE GET CARRIE BACK!!!!
  15. Not a bad prediction by me on 10th September then! It wasn't really a prediciton, though, was it? More of a request/want...
  16. I think £25 is actually a more realistic expectation. The fact that he's super rare and has lines in all 3 films would probably justify that price as well. Especially when you consider that a number of lesser SW guests charge £15. I think I'm going to work on that assumption.
  17. Maybe they could get Hamil over as well - great photo opportunity and money spinner for SM.
  18. Great announcement. I care not about it not being a surprise - it's another bloody fabulous Star Wars guest - thanks so much for this SM!
  19. People overheard Jason at Autographica saying that it is Lawson on a once only fill your boots type event to stop people asking him for Star Wars stuff - the idea being that you have this one chance to go meet him/send stuff in to sign, and that's it! Great guest really - I just wish I'd not got carried away with my JEJ excitement from the non-clue that was offered in the original post!
  20. Timelord, I hope by "contact" you aren't suggesting that you attempted to dry hump any of them!
  21. I don't think any of those constitiute "biggest guests ever" to be honest.
  22. It is Denis Lawson. A one off fill your boots now or never type opportunity to stop people asking him for Star Wars stuff. It IS Denis Lawson. Be told people!!
