omg, just read all the replies about ET4 and i have to say something. and as the topic is now locked i'm writing it here. i know in a perfect world we would all have enough money for everything we want and everything would be perfect timing.. showmasters didnt choose this date, i doubt it, the actors agent is being demanding, rightly so, their client is in demand, they can be, (they will have alot of offers for cons/events) and showmasters had to make a decision. either put tickets on sale now and hopefully get this great guest, or go with original plan and (probably) miss out. paying a deposit sounds a good idea, but it's impractical, jola would have to chase everyone for final payments, no guarantee everyone would pay, people may pay the small non refundable deposit and then decide not to go, leaving showmasters in not a great financial position, having already paid out for guests. showmasters are doing what they can. yes, they are a business and the kind of money a big guest will be demanding (especially now how big twilight saga is) is not spare money they have, so all they wanted was some indication of ticket sales. thats all. you all think it will sell out, because ET1,2 did, ET2 sold out very quickly. ET3 hasnt yet. ET4 wont either, judging by these comments, most people will wait and buy ticket in january/february maybe later. alot of people don't have spare money right now. so why the panic?! isnt being there good enough? my life revolves around twilight and conventions, and i go to what i can afford. yes it would be great to get the exact ticket you want, but i've only got standard for ET3 because i can't afford silver or gold at the moment (although obviously would have loved gold!). we can't always have exactly what we want. but i'm happy to be going at all, whichever ticket i can get, i will still get to meet the guests.(and hang out with my friends). am really annoyed reading peoples comments. showmasters have backed down, you win, you can buy your tickets after xmas (which you could have done anyway) and we probably won't get this guest now.

ok, so i've never had a Gold Ticket before. When is the group photoshoot usually? or does anyone know for sure? i've got to leave on Saturday, either in afternoon or evening (can be either) but don't want to miss my photoshoot. (or anything exciting at the party). So if I leave at, around 12, i could be back for the party, and miss the talks, or vice versa. I will be back on Sunday though. also, my usual con buddies aren't going to Hallowhedon and I am travelling from home, not staying in the hotel. Can I met up with someone, preferably who is also Gold. and, um, 'borrow' your room to change and/or leave change of clothes in.pretty please.

It got moved to being released on wednesday the 15th. Nobody really knows why though I dont think. Releasing on a Weds is really unconventional, isn't it? Means we can all go and see it for cheap on Orange Weds Wolverine and Star Trek both got released on a wednesday aswell. big blockbusters. The first 2 days count as a preview, so not as many trailers at the start, etc. and yes, because of Orange wednesdays too. by the next wednesday following release, its not as popular/busy, so trying to get everyone in..make more money quicker you know.. in times of a credit crunch! LOL (I work for Odeon cinemas..)

What!!?? lol I think katie101 is using logic about the NEW MOON specific quote. Jason has said there maybe someone from New Moon. Therefore a guest that has ONLY been in New Moon and NOT Twilight. Therefore NOT a Cullen. But what Jason actually said was... So they intend to bring more Twilight guests AND a NEW MOON guest. yes thats what i meant. obviously i would like a Cullen! just thinking we already have Carlisle so the 3rd guest is likely to not be a Cullen.

I'm quite surprised that he's doing a "charged for talk" - is he really that important a guest to justify one? I thought Twilight was the only fandom he covered or is the fact it's "charged for" more of a case that there are so many Twilight fans that they have to charge in order to control the numbers in the audience? No disrespect to him or his fans but I'm wondering just is the price to control the numbers (cos Twilight is so popular) or is it simply charged for cos he can? Peter has been acting for over 10 years! yes he is currently well known for Twilight but he has done alot of other sucessful movies/ tv shows. Love Sucks, Can't Hardly Wait, The Big Kahuna, Supernova, Riding in cars with boys, Hollow Man 2, Scorpion King, Fastlane, Damages, Six Feet Under etc etc .. .. i'm sure there are lot of non Twilight fans who would like to meet him! i went to ET just to meet Peter. because i am a Peter fan, not because I'm a Twilight fan.
